Looks like Hurley has the rising star award this week. Will be confirmed tomorrow.

Well deserved.

Genuine football brain.

Also, as he will only play 9 games by years end, he is a shoe-in for the rising star next year

The mark he took late in the game was something you would expect from a Scarlett or Fletcher or someone like that, not a bloke who has played 6 games.

How good does he look!
Class act. Loved the mark against Reiwoldt, made him look like a 2nd class forward.

Very good, already. Has all the traits of a future champion.

He, along with Zaharakis and Prismall (still only played 35 AFL games, but looks oh so comfortable out there) are the 3 new players that I am absolutely f'king rapt we picked up.

Pfft - when was the last time we had two or more??? This year's crop of youngsters is looking the goods. Three in the one year. Looking good!

By the way WH - the only chance for a 4th RS this year is one of Quinn, Neagle or Bellchambers ... all who have showed something this week (and the last two).

Should Neagle score a bag over the next two weeks ... a chance. Should Bellchambers negate Sandilands .. a good show. Quinn - 2 games of 20 pozzies - a chance (but would qualify for next years award - so less likely).

Cheers - STI

Yes, you can be nominated in successive years, as long as you fulfil the other criteria still.
