Down by a goal at 1/4 time.
Pretty good attack on the ball. Backline great so far. McPhee captain fumbles again - but he doesn't stop giving efforts.
Ball seems pretty slippery.

WHAT THE F**K IS UMPIRE MCBURNEY'S PROBLEM??? 3 times he's done us for in the back only once did it seems a fair call.

Very happy with the start. Wish they'd keep their feet a bit more. :lol" @ Adelaide runner thanks for that! Quinny is about, Hurley has been Hurley - exciting in whatever he does. Liking how we responding every time after they score a goal.

Just worried that it's about to be blown open. I'd love to be wrong but even from the first quarter the midfield supremacy is evident. But we are in it still that's the main thing. Hope we hang around all day.

Oh and I agree with in the back, you can see the players body's slideto the side of the player with only their forearms in the back. Bit rough. GO BOMBERS! KEEP IT UP!

Hooker and NLM playing well ... the soft goal late in the first quarter hurt.

Lovett and Watson yet to make an impact. Wonder if Campo will throw a tanty again this week?

Not bad so far. Haven't been blown away. Hocking, Dempsey, Stanton doing well. Quinn finding space inside 50. Good goal from Skipworth.
Atkinson needs to go the longer option. McPhee needs to settle a bit & work on getting the ball.
Umps going overboard with the in the back frees when players are on the ground.

Might test these f****** if we can stay with them into the 2nd half.

A very competitive 1st quarter by us. Some errors, but that is expected. Hocking and Dempsey had a fantastic quarter, and Hooker, Prismall and Stanton are playing well. Quinn is finding space and Skippy is having a dip. Watson hasn't had a touch yet......I guess if he gets going, we'll be better for it.

Impressive so far. However, I think we will get smashed in the clearances as the game gets longer (ruck dominance).

QTR TIME

Ade 4.3 27
Ess 3.3 21

plenty of the ball and inside 50's, just need to capitalize, missed 1 or 2 chances, we're giving them too much space around their F50 and they've kicked a few from the 50... smashing us in tap-outs, having an age to tap it where ever and to whoever they want, but luckily hasn't hurt us too much!

Need to stick with them, can't let the lead get any bigger if we want to run over them in the 2nd half.

I should've stayed at the pub... we were tied up when I got home! Now we're getting pantsed this term :(

Can someone explain the f****** advantage rule to me? When the ump calls advantage, and it isn't... why isn't it bought back?

f*** Atkinson is having a f****** shocker. Been run down resulting in a free kick and goal to the opposition, very bad handball that set another goal to the opposition and his direct opponent Dangerfield has kicked 2 as well.
