f*** me, I have run out of questions.

Which Essendon player won 4 consecutive premierships in the 80's.
He won 84 and 85, but also won 2 consecutive (wont say which side of the 84-85 flags) in another league (Either WAFL or SANFL)?

In the first night matches that were played in the 1870's, what colour was the ball?

Ok guys, this is a very hard one I reckon, but its on the subject of football and cricket.

Which famous figure and a club played cricket for Victoria and football for the club he became a prominent figure for?

Its a victorian club and it isnt the "big 4" (carlton, Collingwood, essendon richmond)

I think I may be misunderstanding the question slightly, but i think warwick Armstrong fit the bill - played football for South Melbourne, played cricket for Victoria (prominent) and of course Australia (prominent). Or did the guy become prominent at football before cricket?

Yeah, it should be a prominent figure AT a club.

This person was, and in some ways still is, a very prominent figure at the football club. He played for this football club and also played sheild cricket for Victoria.

Ill give you a hint, he was president of this club. This is post WWII.
He won a B&F and is in this teams team of the century.

Gee you had my head spinning! I thought it might be Peter Bedford of South Melbourne (but he was never President), but I have since had a brain snap and came up with Dr Allen Aylett. I saw him nearly kill one of our supporters (admittedly he was an idiot), one day at the "G".

Keeping with the footy/cricket connection, who was the last AFL/VFL player to play Test cricket for Australia?

Simon O'Donnell?

Yes, well done Rosso. Jamie Siddons would have been the answer if he added to his solitary ODI, but the Australian Test selectors continually ignored his glut of first class runs.

In what year were numbers first worn on the back and what colour were Essendons?
