A clue: The player wore No.50 and was better known in another sport.

Nah, I just remember it. I remember feeling a bit sorry for this young bloke getting knocked rotten so early in his career. Then not long after that he's playing crticket for the Vics.

OK, while on the theme of players becoming better known via another sport...which player spent two years at Richmond, both premiership years, but didn't play in either flag, and is know better known through his 'involvement' in another sport?

Who was the first Brownlow medal winner of Italian decent? (as in at least one of their parents were born in Italy)

Hmmm, interesting....any idea what his Dad's name was?

Who was Essendon's last minute withdrawal from the 1983 Grand Final debacle?

Ronnie Andrews?

Incorrect boncer. What was surprising was that Ronnie Andrews wasn't selected in spite of this other player's withdrawal due to injury......Ronnie missed the preliminary due to suspension, but was available for the GF, was not selected and played in the Reserves Premiership instead.

I knew either you or swooper would have got this.....

I just couldn't believe they didn't pick Ronnie after the fact Billy was going to miss out. Replace a tough defender with a tough defender. Not that it would have made any difference, but I couldn't understand the logic (or lack of it). If Ronnie played, Colin Robertson wouldn't have won the Norm Smith.......he would have been carted off on a stretcher not long after Watson was.

I don't know if this is an easy one or not but here goes

Name the teams that played in the 1984 Grand Final in Under 19's, Reserves and Seniors (that part is definitely easy  )
