I got a letter about that, Gimps, and they told me to call them if we didn't like our new seats, and do nothing if we were happy enough. I think it primarily affected people who were next to the AFL Reserve area last year for their away seats. Are those the seats they've changed? That's where we were and it affected us. I haven't heard of anyone who was affected not getting the letter, but then again, this is the membership department we're talking about. They do love to find new and inventive ways of f****** things up.

Same here :) Nice to have it safely in the wallet well before Round 1 this year. Club deserves fair credit for vast improvement following last year's disgrace.

Not sure about my seat allocations, have to have a look at the seating plans a little closer...looks pretty similar to what I requested though (changes for H&A at both grounds)

Shame about the membership pack.

It's really the epitome of cheap. Is that what we want from this club?

They spent the money on the coaching panel - thankfully

Well, I got mine this week as well, and I have to say, I'm totally impressed. I got it on time, and they actually got my seats right! Nice one.

What do you want though?
You pay for membership to get you in the gate each week.

If you want merchandise, go to the shop at Windy Hill.

I don't want the same stuff every year. The collection gets stale.
Maybe a stubby holder

We have cracked 40,000 members today!! =D>

40,026 to be exact. 9,974 to go! Not sure if we will get there but I hope so.

Compared to other clubs:

Collingwood: 54,412

Hawthorn: 45622 (incl. Tassie in that figure)

Hawks would have less then us right now if it wasn't for the 6000 odd Tassie members

Carlton: 30,256 (LOL)

Richmond: 35,312

St Kilda: 32,008

Richmond doing very well

Pretty good effort from a club that finished bottom 4 last year.

Don't forget the 5000 goldfish who also have memberships with the Hawks.

You just need to drive down Glenferrie Road to be included.

Blues looking a bit skinny (ha ha!!)

Almost a week later and another 1000 up.

40,991 :) Every 1000 will be a milestone! Want to smash that record of 43,000 I think it was?

Round 1 will be amazing if we can fill the place!

 You have double mine ... who's the post whore ;)

Nah I'll definitely post more on now. I think my opinion, despite many disagreeing with my optimism is worth something around here. But I don't think I'll be the only one positive around here this year. I think the years of being down the bottom are over. It's just the beginning... but baby steps first :D

Edit - woo 3800 posts :) even though my 500 from old BT never came across. Who has the most around here anyway. Megan?
