I was fortunate enough to be at Princess Park when Neil Daniher personally rolled Carlton.
After having shit put on me all day, I really served it up to thos scumbags and was lucky to get home in one piece.

I was unable to talk after that game as i have never yelled so much during the last 5 minutes . Truly outstanding. I was standing in front of the press box next to the Essendon coaching box & recall Sheeds standing up clapping the boys as they walked of the ground.

Notice the importance & brilliance of T Watson in those last 5 mins. I reckon he got about 6 hard ball possessions & was just as crucial as N Daniher. His son now is playing a similar role & after seeing that vision Jobe has really taken after his dad.They play so much alike.
Also note such names as Alan "rooter" Reid (2) & Mark "wally" Eustace (47) , names i had forgotten about.
Downside I believe that Daniher "did" his knee the following week against South Melbourne at Windy Hill & was never the same again. Pity that , a potential brilliant career cut short.

Although i hate the dawks, the passionate hatred i have for the filth & especially the scum far surpasses all others.

Remember : This Staurday , No mercy asked for , no mercy given. Take no prisoners.

What about the work of Glenn Hawker? He was a pearler in the last 5-10 minutes.. I've still got his signature somewhere at home.

The skills of that bloke were incredible - left foot or right foot, it was immaculate.

In 2005 we picked up Ryder who will be better than Murphy. We also got Dempsey who is getting better all the time, Lonergan who is becoming an important part of the midfield and Hocking was picked up as a rookie.

I guess 2006 wasn't as good with Gumbleton not able to keep his body right. Jetta is going alright and Davey could be a good player.

2007 started badly with Myers but we did ok after that with Pears and Hooker looking like our future FB/CHB combination. we also picked up Bellchambers that year in the pre-season draft who has improved so much over the pre-season that he could establish himself in the team this year.

I love this one from Talking Carlton - this guy is trying so hard to not admit that we are his worst nightmare - I love the reference to Collingwood being their real rival, but he then slips back into how amazing it will be if they beat us (dream on dufus).

Well frankly,
i 'm a little scared.

Secondly..the londoner is talking truth all over the place, and ruining a perfectly good thread...
Thirdly...nothing good can come from red and black..and nothing ever will.

even though I'm a tad nervous...and I freely admit that Collingwood will always be the top arch rival for me...
I just know deep down, that if ALL our team decide to stand up and play 100%...
if they do..then we are the better team, and...we have more soul and spirit than the bombers could ever dream of.

Imagine how good...I mean IMAGINE how it will feel when we beat them on Saturday.
Sure they'll blame the 6 day turnaround...
