Huge game vs the Cattery

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Some.of these posts are deadset gold.

Reckon we will get done again on the weekend for the same reason we are getting done again other half decent sides.

Our forwardline gets smashed against quality senior opponents. Taylor and Lonergan will be all over Joe and Jake.

Will struggle.to kick more than 10-11 goals. And can't win footy matches that way.

I'd like Edwards to get a game. Or Browne.

I hope Howlett and.Melksham.both play out of their skin this week. Will need them.

Looking forward to the VFL game beforehand. Hopefully Browne and O'Brien can tear it up.

Yes - because at selection we have fundamentally conceded the senior game.

2016 roll on.

Indeed. Somehow I think that game will be far more entertaining.

Yes, we almost appear to be loading up the 2's knowing the senior side is rubbish.

I agree with Boncer that Kav deserves his spot, but I also think that O'Brien is very unlucky, especially with Timmy out this week. Kavanagh has been going inside more this year, but still not as much as O'Brien.

I think Browne should have been in ahead of either of them though, because we need more run and he was also very good last week. And Edwards for Chapman.

IN: Gwilt, Dalgleish, O'Brien, Langford, Laverde, McKernan (if not, Giles), Browne

OUT: Fletcher, Watson, Dempsey, Stanton, Chapman, Bellchambers, Ambrose

McKernan can't and Giles is in worse VFL form then Belly is in the AFL so strongly disagree.

Other then that I don't mind them except I'd drop Gleeson instead of Stanton. Stanton hasn't been great but Gleeson has been outright terrible yet slides under the radar.

You may want to watch Dempsey closely from your seat too. His disposal is still average but at least he sticks with his opponent this season, appears to being shutting them down well IMO. Is it enough to keep him? Dunno. I think we still need an offensive weapon in his spot.

IMO, some blokes need to be made an example of;

Stanton is a liability. Gets way too much credit for SFA.
Dempsey needs to sharpen his skills and decision making. Do it in the VFL.
Bellchambers has been utterly crap. Drop him regardless. Don't care if Giles has been substandard, just let Belly know he's got to earn a spot.

I agree Gleeson has had some bad moments. But you wear that from a bloke who's played 20 games. I won't wear it from a 235 gamer - ever.

Stanton and Bellcho I definitely agree with Benny. One has been shit all year the other has been shit for years.

I'm still prepared to cut Dempsey some slack. Primarily because he is only one of two that can run and carry - break some lines and put some urgency into what we do. We miss Zaka.

Giles had a good 5 minute patch last week, which is better than anything TB has done this year.

Seeing as Chapman is still in I'd like to see him play in every centre bounce and use his giant arse to win us some clearances. What he does after that is irrelevant.
