Regardless of the result at the tribunal hopefully the club can continue to stick it up the AFL even though the AFL try so hard to stop and of the clubs progress.

What an absolute bloody disgrace...
What you can't stand up for yourself after getting decked?
What the hell is this soft cock game coming too?
If he goes for that then Officially this game is softer than Netball...
Shit has anybody ever watched a game?

They hit harder than what Lloydy did to Carroll and lets not forget that pricked decked him which was uncalled for...

The moral of this story is Belt the shit out of someone and wait for the retaliation - They get suspended and the instigator gets off!!!

Yeah thats right isn't it?

Utter bullshit this one
Hang your heads in shame AFL...

does anyone know another place to see the video of Lloyd`s report? foxsports doesn`t work outside of Australia :(

I think the key sentence that makes this the biggest load of shit ever is
"Lloyd was reported for retaliating after Melbourne’s Nathan Carroll ran through him after a shot for goal missed "
right...so...WHERE IS CARROLL`S REPORT?

I`ve never bothered to post about the tribunal before...but jesus...this defies any type of logic.

I`ve watched Seven`s coverage again, re-listened to the audio from MMM and ABC...all 3 of them emphasised Carroll and barely touched on what Lloyd did.

a disgrace.

Has to be the biggest load of donkey manure the tribunal has EVER come up with. How can the instigator (Carroll) not be cited at all and yet the retaliator (Lloyd) go for one week? It defies all logic.

Just wondering what everyone would have thought if it were Mark McVeigh that retaliated. I reckon there would be comments like "typical and undisciplined" or "bloody stupid" or "he needs to grow up" or "he obviously hasn't learnt a thing".....

The tribunal hearing is tonight and if that fails then there is always the option of going to appeal on Thursday night.

The whole thing is an absolute disgrace.

Typical tribunal farce. Watch Lloyd get 3 weeks for contesting (to teach him... and Essendon... a lesson).

Lovett got 3 weeks for attempting to strike remember.

Possibly.
If Lloyd felt the need to get back at at both the umpire and Carrol there was still plenty of time to do it in this game and others in the future.Silly.
Yet, cant help feeling this is a charade for the real agenda at the the Kremlin. That is find the "alleged" instigator of a mellee and "get" him first and the rest will follow.
Jackboots all over it.

:) :) :)
Definitely
However Mark McVeigh seems to be careful to not get caught these days and he does not talk back to the umpires anymore...
Quite an outstanding performance this year, very consistent and responsible for a fair few wins, a potential Best and Fairest.

let us know how it goes, i suspect he'll get off, it's ridiculous that he even needs to attend, i hope if he does get off they will still have the fire in the belly of previous 24 hours

I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing too Megan. Like I said before, watch him cop 3 weeks now as a lesson for trying to contest it.
