Paddy Ryder

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

If Player disagrees, not sure where that leaves him @ the tribunal though Sismis.

Paddy really has to accept any destination. If a deal is tabled and he is on record as refusing to take it , then thats grounds that its not about leaving Essendon because of lack of duty of care. Its just about where he wants to end up.

He knocks back GWS then that will mean he hasnt got a leg to stand on if he wants to progress with action at the tribunal.

Dodoro needs to call Connors bluff on this one.

17 and 37 lodged for Paddy.

Settles the draw next season too. So predictable.

Will play Port twice and if we get Cooney the dogs.

Should have sent Ryder to GWS to 'stoke the rivalry' and get them twice instead.

f*** Port.

Oh and Hallihan will turn out to be a much better option than Cooney over the next 4 years.

EFC - f****** retirement home.

So sick of the club right now.

Lets look at the deals in a whole.

Out- Ryder + 3rd rounder (which we weren't using)
In- Giles, Cooney, 1st rounder + 4th Rounder (which we aren't using)

So we've got Giles, Cooney and a first rounder for Ryder.

Sweet.

Port ahead: Ryder for 17 and 37
Dogs: 37 for Cooney, they wanted him gone so probably a breakeven
Us: Pick 17, Cooney and Giles. We're down but really not by that much. All depends on what we can get out of Cooney.

If we can get him to 2012 form of 25 touches and a goal for a couple of years we'll be in front.

GWS must not have rated Ryder or just not there for a top 10 pick.
Because thats what I would have shipped him for, not pick 17 and 37(ok on traded) in a weak draft

Dogs would take anything for Cooney, they need to pay Boyd and Cooney is a massive liability. Failed Medico tests at another club(Carlton...and did he pass at north?).

I guess its nice having Licha/Chapman and Cooney on the list at once. We might take a ward out at St Vincents.

Agree and if Bellchambers also gets back 2012 form we'll be well ahead.

Ryder had to agree to a trade to GWS. It was not going to happen.

Cooney passed medicals here and at Arden St. I have not seen anywhere that he failed one at the Blues.
