We were shit last year too. Had two miracle wins against Carlton and collingwood thanks entirely to lovett, limped over the line against an injury ravaged hawks, solid win against stkida, Carlton the second time and stdeny. Shouldn't have played finals and got smashed/ embarrased by adelaide. Midfield worst in the league by kms.
Like sand through the hour glass, so are the days at the Essendon Football Club.

Travel interstate and play a shite opposition into form...........sound familiar?

Unless EFC begin to address this festering sore we will never improve.

We're delayed here.. but I see what you mean about this umpiring... consistency is a word that must exist only in my dictionary.

they've repainted the commentary box white yet again over Nat!!

we barely have to touch the coast players before the whistle blows, quite a few over the shoulder free kicks that are there but dead set can we get a holding the ball go our way for once???

no run, no defence, no scoring

well done Essendon way to learn from previous games, super effort

What I don't get is the complete lack of decision making that is going on with virtually all Bomber players. They refuse to take the first option - which is invariably the correct one - and insist on "thinking through" the problem in front them. Are they trying to remember the infamous game plan when they do this ?

They then turn into trouble or put a team mate under a heap of pressure. This is horrendous.

Can someone please grab the pill and pretend its not a cake of soap PLEASE !!!!!

I hold out a faint hope for some miracle form reversal but its more than likely we will lose by approx. 100 points and make WCE look really good.

Christ - its even worse in the 3rd quarter

Welsh - shameful! Hopefully gets 10 weeks for a cheap shot when we were a chance at goal.

Ths is not a "the umpires have cost us rant in any way." We are F***ing pathetic!

But I'v got to say I've never seen a more one sided interpretation of the holding the ball rule.

And if Welsh wants to jump up and smack someone in the head he should try a couple of his team mates first and then himself.

I'll credit them for lifting a little. Winderlich finally doing what we know he can do. Reimers trying. Still angry but stemmed the flow a little.

HOOKER = SHOCKER!!!

Definitely a better quarter effort wise...just didnt capitolise. If were like 4 goals down I'd give us a shot given WCE 4th quarter form. No chance. But a tiny bit better this quarter.
