Look the players execution has been pretty constantly off most of the season. So whether its Knights fault or not (I think it is his fault mind) , he cant get the message through and the players are bereft of confidence.

Lets end the pain, appoint a caretaker and go about luring a big name experienced coach.

I have just got home from the game. Don't even know where to start. The scoreline totally flattered us. They were 40 pts up with 15mins to go and took the foot off the pedal. A true indication of the game would have been a loss of 50pts or more. And it's not as if Melbourne are any good or anything. They made lots of pathetic errors too. But we made even more.

Right from the first bounce, we looked disinterested. Welsh, McVeigh, Hooker (especially) all looked half asleep.

Right from the first bounce, our forward set up was (I'll be polite) hard to fathom. Lonergan at CHF?

Directionless, leaderless, listless.

Must be something going on behind the scenes/under the surface that we are not aware of. I can't honestly believe that 22 "professional" athletes can perform so badly AGAIN!!

had an absolute gutfull of this shit, some say we have been privileged with success but this pathetic effort is just not warranted, this team should be in the 8 in 2010 but the players don't want to win for Knights and Knights isn't picking the best 22 as he says he is trying to do pfffft it's pretty obvious you play favorites and from what ive heard Prismall got dropped for something he said about/to Knights

This is one thing I just can7t believe has changed so quickly. Even last year our whole game was supposedly based around speed, playing on, and taking on the opposition.
The last 2 weeks I haven't seen a single player with the pace to take on an opponent and run away from him. We really do look slow (amongst 100 other problems).

-From the day Matthew Knights stepped into this footy club (and i know we had problems before that) he has ripped it apart.
He took two to the best players in their era in the whole comp and treated them like pieces of shit. I'm sure you wouldnt see Malthouse have done that to Buckley, or Clarkson do that to Crawford etc etc. They were just about the heart and soul of our footy club and he just threw them out like they were no-bodies.
I am still to this day yet to hear an Essendon supporter who wanted or supported the decision to bring in Knights.
He has been there two and a half years, and is still yet to show any kind of reason as to why he is a head coach of one the the biggest clubs in the AFL.
-Even though he was old and past his prime, at least Sheeds would of tried something different if our game plan wasnt working, he just sits back let it get beyond any chance of a comeback then 'makes' a move.
-Our list needs to have a good hard look at ourselves. Get rid of mcveigh, welsh and anyone else who is clogging up our list and get some good young talent on our list.
-Stanton needs to f*** of back to Bendigo and learn how to play the game, and learn what is means to where that number on his back. That is by far one of the most famous numbers in the whole history of the game, and he is making it look like a piece of rubbish that means nothing to him.
-Get a new game plan A.S.A.P. even if it is that bullshit style of play, at least something that will make the team f***ing man up and play some sort of defence.
