Those that are there. This may be the smallest crowd we have played in front of in a long time. West Coast supporters are making more noise than us.

That's because they've got something to make noise about

Boo'ing is pointless i expect.

A mass walkout and an empty stadium for the final 10 minutes of the match, now that would show the club how much confidence we have of their current direction.

And the reaction was.....stunned silence (or so it looked to me).

It's almost like the crowd was wondering when will the nightmare end.

Essendon members are the biggest bunch of conservative, middle class, non boat-rocker, bland, home by dark, sex once per week (with P.J.'s on and lights out - missionary position) whimps there are. Expect nothing from them! A few stern words to their sub-managers on Monday morning and on with the job.

It's always been our weekness - and our stength.

Expect no revolution.

And I shold Know - because I'm one of them

Smallest ever Essendon crowd at Etihad. Those who didn't turn up made the wise decision.

It will be even smaller next week because I sure as hell aint going. I refuse to go watch cowards represent our football club. We have idiots in charge who will not select tough nuggets like Marigliani, but would rather select limp dicks instead.

Agreed. I said after the Melbourne game it would be my last game for the year, but I decided to give them one more chance.

I have now thrown in the towel and will not be attending another match this year, probably wont even listen to them. Im heading to WH tomorrow to hand back my membership scarf 2010, and I am only keeping my membership because it is AFL membership.

The players can go get f***** and rot in hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There comes a time when the best support you can give your team is NOT to support them. As far as im concerned, every loss is (hopefully) a nail in Knights coffin. So in that regard i hope we lose every game for the rest of the year.

The crowd reaction really was quite interesting. Lots did leave early and lots who stayed remained in stunned silence, shaking their heads in disbelief (this is what I did). There were a few boos as the team left the ground but most stayed silent.

Walking away from the ground, I overheard many other people swearing they would not come to another game until Knights goes. I myself haven't made up my mind yet. Having endured the last two weeks, the stubborn part of me is willing to give them one more go against the Kangaroos, but another part of me says enough is enough.

Strange days indeed. Even way back in the dark days of the 1970s, I don't remember ever having second thoughts about whether to go or not. In fact, for all the lack of premierships in that decade, we did at least make the finals both under Tuddy and under Barry Davis and we got rid of coaches once it was obvious it was not working. What we are going through now is completely different again. :? :(

I sent an email to David Evans. Didn't swear or demand the coach be sacked, simply said that the players are disrespecting the club and it's history.

If they do not want to play for Knights, play for the supporters and make a motion at the end of the season. If they don't want to play for Knights then that is 2 coaches they have gotten rid of. f****** precious wankers!

As I said, I wont be attending another game this year, the players can rot. They are the reason for the shit that is happening, not just the coach. With any luck, we get a coach who hates Winderlich and Stanton and f**** them off!
