Lets have an abuse free zone.

Right now, I'm watching this game - and I will watch the entire thing, not change channels because I don't like what I see - and 60% of me is embaressed, and 40% of me was thinking - prior to coming in - "I wonder what bullshit will be in BT after this?"

A) I need a life

B) You lot mortify me, you really do.

Yep, we suck. But no, I'm not interesed in turning on my own and eating my young, aka Richmond style. We ridicule them for it, and yet we're so quick to do it ourselves. I feel bad enough about how we're playing, without having to read the vitrol and bullshit spewing out of here.

(Is Knights responsible for the fact none of our boys seem to be in studs?)

I'm loving the coloured boots. Yeah yeah they draw attention to the fact that the players don't know what to DO with their feet, but I like 'em.

Megs, no one is turning on their own - enough is enough

This team is getting worse not better. The coach must go. Its the only solution

Why? I feel abused just watching this shit. The problem at Essendon is we dont have ENOUGH people who find this unacceptable.

Megan, you can't wear studs at Ethihad, the ground is too damn hard, be a very good way to get stress fractures.

Joke of a stadium, nearly as a big a joke as the muppets at the club that signed a 25 year contract to play there.

Megan

Forums like this are essential for supporters to get it off their chest

yes - censor swearing, crudity, libel and criminal threats ... but let the faithful bleed and vent to each other amongst friends.

That's the problem Sti, there's too much aggressive language and crap. Constructive criticism I have no issue with, even a good old fashioned rant. But some people go way over the top and that gets on my tits. It's frustrating enough to watch the boys, but to have people repeating the same crap in every damn thread?

And thanks Easley, I didn't realise that about the studs. The commentators (Dunstall, Hirdy etc) kept harping on about it, surprised one of them - esp Hirdy - didn't point that out.

Robbie I find it very unacceptable. Oh and stop dodging the filter BTW, it's giving me the shits [-X

Didn't they bring in a cleat (or cross tread) style boot for this sort of thing?

I can never remember what I am supposed to do. Just type the word and let the insta-filter do it, or type my version of the word? :P

Megan, I truly admire your spirit. The fact are Megan we have real issues here regarding our club. I know it's only a game it isn't life or death but it is so frustrating seeing what is happening at the moment.

I'll admit we I do have issues with certain players but there can be no denying they the players have lost respect of Knights in fact what I saw tonight was reminiscent of Sheedy's last couple of seasons.

Either change the playing group to suit Knights game plan or cut the coach. They are the only 2 scenarios that are available to us. The latter would be the easiest.

I do not want to sound patronising in this post Megan but I do respect and do enjoy what you contribute to this forum. It is a pity that the club and some of its officials didn't have the same passion as you
=D>

It's very hard not to vent when we pay good money to watch these sort of performances.

Forget an abuse free zone.

How about a counselling zone?
I feel sick. Need a good strong drink and a chat.

Thanks auditor. I don't think any of us have been this frustrated since they took big brother uncensored off air and Robbie had to find something new to whack off to.

We've all got different ways of channeling frustrations... I just tire of the same aggressive crap. I reckon we're pretty good at not doing that, Richmond supporters would be giving back all their membership cards by now... I've only read of one 'supporter' saying stuff like that in here. Good stuff BT!

Well said Megs. But you seem to forget what an over-emotional, whiney lot Bomber supporters have become. They've lost all self respect and it's only going to get worse this week me thinks... It's just so embarrassing.

Sure we suck. But seriously some people need to build a freakin' bridge...
