It's a fact. He has always been rested previously, rather than played with Bendigo.

So Round 1, 2010 - Jake Melksham was being "rested"? In fact, rested until Round 3....

Bizarre.

Edit: Hang on, I think I have the answer. The VFL didn't start their season until R3 of the AFL season....

No Mark Williams this week??

A must win for the side... if we can't beat Werribee then we can say goodbye to finals for this year.

Williams is gone for the season, under the knife.

I have only seen him play live the once but he has been in the most goals and best players every week since he has been in the side.

He is a good running midfielder/half forward player.. tackles and chases hard and has a very nice mark for his size as well. Works his butt off in the contests as well. Looks like Grant played him predominantly as a smaller forward today.

Ben Duscher - 22 years of age (DOB: 29/09/87)

Hails from Merbein (doesn't someone else connected to EFC come from there?) - up against Matthew Bate and Robbie Tarrent (reasonable crop from Sunraysia that year)

Played for Bendigio Pioneers in the TAC in 2006 (with J Selwood) and Bendigo 2nds in 2007.

2007 stats Duscher was
H: 186cms
W: 79kgs

Left to play at Rochester in 2008 and 2009. and was selected for the Goulburn Valley League Team of the Year.

Returned to Bendigo this year.

Would be worth a late draft pick

Cheers - sti

Was very impressive last week too was Duscher. Really hard at it, and from what I could tell, uses the ball quite well too. Could be worth a late rounder or a rookie selection.

Did Myers play?
