Essendon v Carlton Match Thread

Post by paddyl90 »

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think I've looked forward to a game all year more than this one. Two in a row, playing well and nothing would mean more to me than to smash the scum and send them into turmoil! Have cracking seats with my membership, weather looks good. I'm sitting right in front of where the scum players walk along the boundary so I can abuse them. Friday night lights are great and hope to humiliate them in prime time viewing.

Always weary but more confident! CMON BOMBERS dont let me down

CARN BOMBERS!!

For those going make sure you cheer and bag the shit out of scum fans as much as you can!

Hoping for a big crowd too!

Talk that Judd maybe a late withdrawal  It's good in the sense we'll smash them most likely BUT then they could use it as an excuse for their loss. Whatever so longs we get the points. vingertje

Just about to walk down to the G - seriously pumped for this one. We're clearly going to miss finals (don't give me this 'mathematical' crap) so if we can truly f*ck up Carlton's season that'll be good enough for me.
COME ON YOU BOMBER BOYS!

I can recall some years ago when they had 2-3 topliners withdraw at the last moment & we thought how easy is this , wrong ......... eventually we got rolled. Don't be lulled if the "Visy king" withdraws. We will have to go even harder & make sure we bury these retards.

I will be there to barrack hard for the lads & to make life difficult for the scum supporters.

Ok,

1st Qtr

So they are a team on a mission and it shows. However, Prismall has personally handed them 2 goals from shocking turnovers and Neagle cant hit the side of a barn. We were average in that qtr yet still had the same number of scoring shots.

Not much in it as long as we dont panic because we are behind

2nd Qtr

We went alseep in the first half of the qtr but came back well. Still too many WRONG OPTIONS being taken but we were definitely the better side in the second half of that qtr.

Shit kicking for goal, otherwise we would be in front.

Stanton, you'd have to rate yourself as a superstar to pull that stuff.

Killing us :(

In to 11 points then out to heaps again MM.

I think we've spent to many tickets to be able to run over them now.

definitely not out of this game which is amaziing given how average we have played. Our defense is awful tonight. Hooker and Hurley just average - Dempsey too loose althouogh he is cleaning up well

Prismall has killed us with his turnovers - just terrible.

Watson and Winderlich going well.

I thought Neagle looked handy when he moved up on to the hal forward flank.

Game plan - isolate Hardingham one on one and kick long bombs to him.

If we had of kicked straight in the first half maybe we would have had more momentum and been in front... :|

Hardingham seems to be the danger man for us, should have at least 4 or 5 goals on the board by now.

4 goals is nothing in todays footy..... need to kick the first 2 or 3 to have any hope.
