Herald sun running a poll (on their website) on whether Mathew Knights should coach Essendon next year.
Here's your chance to be (hopefull) heard.

Unfortunately Bomber_wiz no poll in going to see the removal of Knights.

Until those responsible for putting Knights into the position in the first place then re-contracted him for a further 3 years grow the balls to admit they may have made a mistake then nothing will happen.

My hunch is that IF they give Choco a position in this club and we do not improve in the first half of 2011 then they might extinguish Knights roll midyear and install Choco.

I honestly believe this club has been lagging behind for years in regards to its recruitment program whether it's in the way it recruits players or coaching staff.

The management had the opportunity to hire Bomber Thompson but in the way they went about it, and this coming from Bomber himself all they did was sent him a text msg to ask if he was interested.

When hiring Knights there was no interaction between Essendon and Pt Adelaide to find out what it was he had done in regards to the Pt Adelaide Magpies. If they had, then they would understood that he wasn't going to be the man for our club.

He came from the Pt Adelaide Magpies after destroying their season to coach Bendigo with poor results. He was then employed at the club as head coach.

From there Essendon recruited Adrian Hickmont to coach Bendigo again with poor results, so what do they do then give Hickmont the Development Coach position.

What business in the world rewards people based on such history answer NONE...

2nd time in 4 weeks that poll has been run...... thats got to say something!!!

Yeah, but she thinks he's rubbish too.

We'll have to live with the fact that he isn't going anywhere.
