Keep a lid on it.

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

I don't mean in regard to Thompson, I mean more generally with Hird's appointment.

Yes it's nice he's back at the club but we are years away from having a decent team, regardless of who is pulling the strings. Y'all are like a pack of school girls on heat.

shit if James Hird coming back to the club doesn't get you going them you have problems.... far out not anyone's place to tell the Essendon faithful how to react, im sitting at home with no-one to talk footy with and so im expressing joy on the net as is everyone else

back off and let us enjoy some good times for a change!

Gringo is right. It's far too early to get carried away. The lists is still garbage and needs serious trimming. Hird is untried as a coach and comes in really just with his name.

By all means kids be 'excited' but all this talk of having a powercracnk at work is just over the top...

Hirdy doesnt think its that bad... the boys on SEN asked him about a 'clean out' and he said it definately would not happen. He will be making calls on the list over the next week.

That's what Knights said 3 years ago too.

I hope Hird turns up with a broom/shotgun.

It will be fascinating to watch how Hird works with the blokes he once played with.

Some decisions need to made about one or two - not naming anyone - (Woosha)
