Memo Adrian Dodoro re Dec 7th

We must PSD a ruckman. Two and a half (Ryder a little reluctant to ruck sometimes) ruckman is NOT going to get through an AFL season, especially with Hille's and Bellchambers' injury histories. Add Hille and tribunal troubles. We will be a laughing stock when no one to ruck.

Need a ruck also in Rookie draft. Just get the two best available Adrian Dodoro. Also rookie Duscher. He looks the goods. We don't want another Stephen Milne disaster.

Keep in mind that with the new interchange rule, the ruckman wont be rotated as much through the bench.

Which ruckman are available in the PSD draft though? Surely they can't be that good if they didn't get picked up in the ND.

Currently training with us...

Chris Molitor
Jonathan Giles (supposedly one of the best ruckmen in the SANFL this season)
Josh Jenkins

Simon Taylor has nominated for both the PSD and Rookie drafts as well if we want a mature aged option.

My hunch for PSD is either 1st choice Giles and as a smokey Brabazon

For rookies (understand that we can get 4 in 2011) in order
1. Neagle (though could be gone to GSW... bless Sheeds) otherwise Brabazon or perhaps Shinners if they are keen on an forward (perhaps not likely given the No 1 recruitment target in 2011 as well as others on the list).
The rest - best of :
2. Brabazon/Duscher ... wouldnt mind a ready to go midfielder
3. Molitor/Jenkins (development ruck option)
4. Liddle/Slattery (KPP development option)

Hopefully the those not rookied would be picked up/retained by Bendigo. Understand that Brabazon was highly rated by the Swans, but there were other considerations as to his delisting - more related to unhappiness than any dark issue. Apparently been tearing it up in the WAFL (did well in the Sandover this year http://bigpondvideo.com/AFL/305150/ryan-brabazon/)

Northe, Rayner and Sporn are probably being assessed for Bendigo duties (though why Rayner would move from the SANFL to the VFL is a big question). Though there is a theory on our friends at BB that Northe is there to act as a foil/friend to Heppell.

Crikey ... would have thought Skippy's cooking was enough support for first year draftees!

BTW - does anyone know where Michael Still went? Not on any training list.
