This one features Hird at his best, a thin armed M. LIoyd, Fletch up forward, Misiti with a big arse and even one Ben Doolan adding something! I turned up to this during the Q3 as I had to work earlier. The Q4 was magic, and the laughter through the crowd in the last few minutes was fantastic.

"Doolan to Hird" has a nice symmetry about it!!!

That was the first final I went to and it was amazing. 88,000 people mainly Essendon supporters and we smashed West Coast. The final 5-10 minutes with everyone waving jackets and scarves was awesome.
