......And Jetta was given the #7 guernsey, according to The Age. Michael got the #22 guernsey following Cartledge's departure.

Funny that all 3 guernseys were previously owned by players who were, or became, pretty maligned towards the end (Henneman, Solomon and Cartledge). These new guys are going to reignite these numbers for sure!

Can't wait for the #7 guernsey to be flashing around in the midfield or for the #3 to extend the dukes. Should be great fun next season to at least see what they're capable of.

I reckon 22 is a good choice for Mal Michael.
(but then I would say that, wouldn't I :D )

Sounds like good choices. Hopefully they can bring a bit of luck to those numbers. They seem to have suffered a bit in the last few years with their previous holders being maligned for one reason or another.

What's in a number? Absolutely nothing.

Supporters should only be looking at the new players and players should not be concerned about which legends have worn there number - concentrate on the game.

Agreed. I'd hate to see another player cut down with injuries and being played out of position. 8)

Good excuse, but the fact is even when Henno was healthy he wasnt a good player(regardless of position).

I remember when he played CHB against an old Jackovich. Jackovich was turning Henno inside out when leading everytime. He made Henno look like a chump.

If an aging Jackovich was giving Henno the run around, what do you think other CHF's would do to him?

And its hard not to play someone out of position when they have no position.

An aging Jackovich is still one helluva player
