Just wondering what is happening with David... was a regular fisture with bendigo for the first month of the season but hasnt been seen since.

Was looking at the VFL scores from today and a 'Meli' kicked 3 goals for Coburg reserves... thats not our Meli is it???

It's him. He has switched to Coburg.

Interesting considering he is a Bendigo listed player... or was... does that mean David isnt part of our international rookie list any more??

Meli is playing with both Aberfeldie and Coburg reserves ... and is still on our list.

This is because Bendigo is not fielding a reserves side this year and there are insufficient places for all our senior listed players as well as those rookied to get a game at Bendigo each week (especially as each VFL team has a small number of non-AFL listed players to either add experience or show their wares for potential selection).
