Votes vs West Coast

Post by Windy_Hill »

5) Stanton - pips Jobe thanks to 2 goals
4) Watson - absolute master class
3) Zaharakis - coming good in a big way
2) Melksham - one of his best games
1) Hocking & Lonergan - low on possessions but enormous games when you see how they crippled WCE mid field

Also well done to Hooker, Hardingham, Howlett, Dyson and Dempsy

- Thought Crameri was a great target and did well to play.
- Loving the fact all our role players continue to produce; Davey, Jetta, Hocking, Lonergan etc.
- Dyson's improvement / consistency continues to surprise me.
- Starting to gain more confidence in Hooker's ability also

5. Brent Stanton
4. Jobe Watson
3. David Zaharakis
2. Heath Hocking
1. Ricky Dyson

Special mentions: Lonergan, Howlett, Melksham, Hardingham, Hooker

Well.....I see a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. This unit is beginning to start something. They are more phsyically stronger - no question. But their skill levels and decision making has improved outta sight. Well done chaps.

Could have given votes to a dozen players. Davey, Bellchambers, Ryder, Fletcher, Hardingham, Howlett, Dempsey, Hocking all excellent.

game was won in the midfield.(contested ball -> clearances -> inside 50s)

on that note.

5.Watson
4. Stanton
3. Zaharakis
2. Ryder.
1. Howlett.

As mentioned it was a solid team performances. So I should say without getting votes from my eyes, Crameri, Jetta, Davey were excellent up forward and Hardingham, Hooker and Dyson also had very good games. Hocking putting a stopper on Kerr was very helpful too.

I was almost compelled to start a Paddy Ryder thread straight after this game. Love him. I really want him to be signed up and happy at Essendon soon. Bugs me we dont have his and Stants signatures. I reckon they def have GWS contracts infront of them that the club is just not going anyway near matching yet.
