The Next Four Weeks
Crucial four weeks coming up for the Bombers
Western Bulldogs
St Kilda
Port Adelaide (at AAMI)
Geelong
Win all 4 and a Top Four season is truly achievable
Realistically, this will be a tough call.
What do you think our chances are?

Re: The Next Four Weeks
We should beat the Dogs, St.Kilda has been up and down this year but we should start favourite and if we want to be taken seriously should beat them. Port really shouldn't be difficult for us and Geelong will be another close one.

Re: The Next Four Weeks
All 4 matches will be tough ones I reckon, we should knock off all 4 but then again you never know. We are playing Port in Adelaide as well so once again we have to win interstate...
Lets just focus on the Doggies for the moment! if we don't thump them I probably wont be fully satisfied!!

If we play at our best we will win all four, having said that Port at AAMI is probably the easiest game... I'm also worried about the bag of tricks Brendan Mccarthy has in store for us.

Re: The Next Four Weeks
Just got to keep winning to make top 4. The spread of the draw dictates it. Hawks will keep winning and press from behind, perhaps Geelong can rally too. Same with Adelaide and West Coast. And I cannot see Collingwood or Sydney slipping.
I have a feeling this year we might fall a touch short.
Of course its all ahead of us. If we are in the top 4 it means we will have prob knocked off Adelaide, Hawthorn, Geelong, StKilda, Carlton, Richmond etc. Which I think means we really deserve to be there.
My end of year ladder goes something like this, with a much better finals match expected.(even if we cop an experienced side like Geelong).
Collingwood,
Sydney,
West Coast,
Hawthorn,
Adelaide,
Essendon,
Geelong,
StKilda.
I will feel like re-writing this post if we lose coming back from Subi against the dogs. This season is all going to come down to percentage I think.

Which means we must belt Footscray well and truly. We need to make up for the lack of % we may otherwise had accumulated v GC and the "dees.little_ripper wrote:... This season is all going to come down to percentage I think.

Re: The Next Four Weeks
Actually our percentage is pretty decent. But yes I would say the message going forward would be to put the foot down and not ease off if we get up against footscray.F111 wrote:Which means we must belt Footscray well and truly. In regards to watching how other teams go, I can't actually believe this, but I will be hoping the scum beat hawthorn friday.
If that happens and we beat the Dogs, it would be beautiful to have 2 games clear of 6th.

We must win the first three and then who knows which Geelong will turn up?
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.

Geelong are a mystery. They've only played a few decent games, but we all know they can turn it on.j-mac31 wrote:We must win the first three and then who knows which Geelong will turn up?
But, we just need to take it one week at a time. We saw what happened when we pencilled in wins against teams like Melbourne.

It annoys me when people on here say we must take it one week at a time blah blah blah
It doesnt mean a pinch of shit to the teams performance what we say on here
Re: The Next Four Weeks

Crows will be a massive hurdle

Re: The Next Four Weeks
All winnable and if we deserve top four we will win them all. As stated above the two weeks after that will be the major fortnight in deciding our final position.
