A midfield with...

...a fit Winderlich, Zaharakis and Heppell could be just the right mix to put around Watson, Hocking, Howlett and Myers. All we need is a bit of luck with injuries.

Winderlich has been excellent considering his prolonged absence.

Winderlich plays small forward when fit - takes Monfries' spot (i can't recall Monfries ever impacting a game for 2.5 quarters like Winderlich did yesterday, except last year's game against Adelaide when his opponent went off injured and he racked up 35 touches as a loose man).

We are still 2 class players short in the midfield even with a full rotation, and Melksham sure isn't the answer.

Don't forget Lonergan, he is a hard ball specialist. This bloke loves getting in and under and although his disposal can let him down he provides some relief for Watson. He can play forward too.

Colyer and Browne show a lot of promise and should be in the 22 for the rest of the year. Developing these blokes into good footballers is something we should be focused on.

Winderlich's return....seriously, I have never been his biggest fan in the past but I have to "doff me hat" to him on the way he has played in his 2 games back. He looks class

Injured again - who broke the godamn mirror down at Windy Hill? Enough already!!!! Hasnt this guy had to endure enough. It was like Gumbleton's hand last week - thankfully he dodged the curse - but there is some serious voodoo shit going on at Essendon

few people in Adelaide have said it, so something must have made the rounds over there

A midfield with heppell and kav is going to please us for years to come. Add them to zaka, jobe, stants and the core looks much better. Browne and Ross likely to be part of the rotations. I am not 100% sold on caddy, but we still want him and he, hepp and kav would give us a potentially exciting on-ball brigade that we have not had in many years.
