We all know McVeigh is gone.

I reckon Hille may be heading out the door too.

Not sure if we have anything worth trading to be honest, though we may have to give up either Hooker or a Pears if we are going to target a Caddy or Boak...

Also, not sure if Prismall will stay on the list, though I think he has one more year on his contract???

Other than that...rookies...

Prismall was playing his best footy before he got injured last year. Unless his injury is career threatening I reckon they'll keep him.

they will keep Prismall no question about that

either 1 of Pears or Hooker will be traded

Gus and possibly Slattery traded or at the very least Slats delisted

can't see them holding onto Steinberg but im not sure of his contract situation

I think Reimers will stay

McVeigh 100% gone and Hille 75% gone

so there is about 5-6 off the list, that's all that has to be done you would think

Ross has spent the majority of the year injured but has shown plenty when fit.

He'd at least hit the rookie list imo.

Steinberg was drafted as an explosive medium forward, kicked over 20 goals for Bendigo last year... in 2012 he has been moved to defence, hasn't been that bad but hasn't really impressed either... Might come down to either him or Luke Davis for a spot on the list as both are similar players...

The problem is, there is a decent number of players that you would give the arse before him.

Which just goes to show you how not great our list currently is.

And FWIW I would delist him if I were coach, but Hird just won't do it this year, so I wouldn't bother raising it as a possibility.

Of those who are uncontracted at years end... and based on EFC selection policy over the past 17 rounds ...

Gone but were great servants of the club
McVeigh, Mark - 2012
Slattery, Henry - 2012
Prismall, Brent - 2012 (unconfirmed)

Definite to be recontracted
Davey, Alwyn - 2012
Dempsey, Courtenay - 2012
Hibberd, Michael - 2012
Howlett, Ben - 2012
Jetta, Leroy - 2012
Stanton, Brent - 2012

Deserved one more go around
Fletcher, Dustin - 2012 (veteran)

Though we don't love them - the coaches do - so they will stay
Lovett-Murray, Nathan - 2012
Monfries, Angus - 2012
Myers, David - 2012

Though we love them - the coaches don't - so they will go/be trade bait/if nothing better
Lonergan, Sam - 2012 (unconfirmed)
Reimers, Kyle - 2012

Youngsters who deserve elevation or retention
Browne, Alex - 2012
Ross, Michael - 2012
Lee ,Brendan (r)
Baguley, Mark (r)

Likely to be rookied
Steinberg, Ariel - 2012

Tradebait or uncertain to be retained
Hille, David - 2012
Gumbleton, Scott - 2012
Davis, Luke - 2012
Dyson, Ricky - 2012

Well ... my 2cents worth
dices ad adepto futui (tell them to f*** off)
