Unfortunately heard this last week off a bloke generally pretty spot on as mentioned in the f*** off thread.

Disaster if true. I will do as much as possible to never support the AFL in any way ever again.

She got it from Riccuto who has as much intelligence as a in grown toenail.

AFL demanded this back in April and we told them to shove it. Highly doubt Little would change stance.

So Little coming out last week singing his and the Boards total backing of James was a big fat LIE? f****** hell...what a sad day it is when a man that TRULY bleeds for the red and black a genuine gentleman and honest good guy can be put in the middle of this f****** mess astounds me. He will only be remembered for this shit now and THAT makes me so sad. He deserves better than this. LEVE IT TO THE MEMBERS/SUPPORTERS to DECIDE! Not sure if I want to follow this game at all if this is true. If Hird goes, then Bomber simply has to as well? I feel sick ......

No.

But I stand by what I said above. I'd be stunned if Little does a 180.

Haha, what a pisser!

Little made a clear and concise statement last week. "I look forward to James Hird coaching us in a successful finals campaign". I hear that as a) you're not taking our points, and b) you're not taking our coach

I am aware of the obvious differences, but Evans said one thing onThursday and resigned two days later.
If Hird has clearly deceived the club, or is incongruous with his ongoing story, I have no problem with Little and the board changing their mind. I of course hope this is serious bull shit by the filthy maggot who thinks she's a journalist.

The club wouldn't risk getting on the bad side of pretty much every member.

Essendon denies baseless rumours
Exclusive to essendonfc.com.au 9:39pm AEST Monday, August 5, 2013

Essendon Football Club categorically denies the baseless rumours and speculation tonight in the media about an 'ultimatum' in relation to the future of coach James Hird.

As a Club we are incredibly frustrated by the decision of some sections of the media to report unfounded and untested gossip.

This rumour began as something coming from Mark Rishudo (roo) on SEN today. Had something to do with the ASADA interim report, and he said something like this, not word for word, If Hird won't go, he might be pushed.

As for Caro, that statement would have to come out of someone else's mouth, wouldn't it? The woman hardly has a thought which is original, she puts a patent on other people's opinions and then takes ownership of them.

Well here's my comment to you Mark, Brownlow Medal or not, we don't need any comments or advice from you. Please go and shine your medal.

So lets see;

Football Operation Manager, Paul Hamilton, resigns
Fitness Guru, Dean Robinson, stood down and eventually resigns
CEO, Ian Robson, resigns
Chairman, David Evans, resigns
We lose all our points in 2013 (rumour)
James Hird either resigns or is sacked (rumour)

All this without an announcement of drug violations.

The AFL wouldn't want to go there ... it would set the Comp back for a decade ... and soccer would win

The AFL is already exposed with too many poor performing and low membership/attendance teams in Melbourne along with the rushed and artificially supported expansion teams...

No room to piss off a large rump of the football public

The Evans argument holds no water. It's not like the club did an about face. They couldn't foresee his health issues flaring up like that after the game. My understanding is THAT was the tipping point. He was not asked to stand down or sacked.
