Bombers injury list in good shape
Tuesday, 13 February 2007
Essendon will head in the NAB Cup at almost full strength with its injury list looking in good shape as the season approaches.
"Four players out of 44 injured is pretty good for us at this time of year and exactly where want to be and having almost a full list to choose from going into the first round of NAB Cup," fitness coach Joel Hocking explained.
However, with only 13 days remaining until the opening match of the pre-season competition, Andrew Lee will be a definite omission from the NAB Cup still recovering from stress fractures in his foot.
"He starts to run on Friday this week, so you would expect him to then take at least another three weeks to be up playing games so he is a little while away," Hocking said.
"Jay Nash is progressing really well since his foot surgery probably ten weeks ago now, so he is in full skills now and we will just keep increasing his work load and he will start playing some scratch matches.
"Campo at this stage isn’t too far away with his ankle injury and he has a check-up with surgeon today so we will see where he is at. While Dean Dick has a minor soft tissue strained quad and he is probably two weeks away from running around in a game."
No mention of Dyson being injured so his hammy can't have been too bad at all.

While your right in checking there, your best bet to check is on the Bomberblitz forum site. Koala has a thread that only she can edit and no one can post to it. She updates it and I would back what she says before the official website.swoodley wrote:From Bomberland:

Somehow, Koala knows all when it comes to injures and co. She knows a player is injured before the player knows.

So is it Koala's fault for not preventing these injuries before they happen?

This had been shaping as the year Lee showed a bit, but unfortunately he has had an interrupted preseason and Fletch has moved to CHB with the advent of MM.
I guess he'll need to show his stuff in Bendigo and take his chances when he gets them. Without being mean to him, I hope he doesn't get too many chances.![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
