On the one hand, he is a lucky bastard - usually you are caught with digital scales and plastic bags, you are done for dealing.

On the other hand, he is an unlucky bastard - first time offender who the magistrate thought didn't own most of the drugs - should have been a diversion or a good behavior bond... not a conviction and big fine.

Oh well - we will have to wait for the update to the bio to hear his side of things

There have been rumours that he’s been on the gear for years. Even when he was coaching the Cats. Anyhow, it’s a sad tale. Such a wonderful bloke who has gone off the rails.

He did record a conviction which is going to affect some things in his life and if he breaches the conditions, he will go to jail.
He has to do compulsory rehab which is a good thing. If a person is really wanting to get clean then it can be a welcome opportunity. There is more to rehab than just being physically withdrawn from the drugs of choice. Then it is the mental/emotional stuff which needs to be cleared out and dealt with. I hope he has lots of support because he will need it. Wish him all the best and hope things work out for him so he can change his life.

Sad what has happened in his life. I hope he’s on the up (as it appears to be). He’s a bloody legend of the game.

Agree Ben. He was a bloody legend. Tough as nails and could read the play.

Another victim of the fkng saga 'stitch-up'.

A great and humble man.

Fruit! He’s looking a lot worse for wear these days :(

Hope he’s getting it all back together again.

All the best Bomber.

Love to be a fly on the wall when he sees Demetrius again…
