Brownlow- Jobe hands it back

Post by boncer34 »

And just like that the last thing we had left to fight over is gone. Hopefully one day the truth will come out but until then the players are done.

Said, written, with so much class. Well done Jobe. It's been a sorry saga and despite losing a medal you have proven yourself to be a mountain of a man. A medal doesn't define that.

The fact this bullshit has been heaped on such an incredibly noble man is unbearable.

Jobe is a class act. One of the few honorable men in the AFL today.

I totally agree that Jobe is a class act as his actions have now proven.

I just hope that the masses don`t take it as an admission of guilt, because we all know that all he is/was guilty of, was playing for a totally fkd up club (administration wise).

As already stated, I hope the truth comes out one day and maybe ...

Also hoping he has a stellar year this year. :)

Got that right! "unassailably dignified"

If you have not read Jobe’s statement, I encourage you to ....

Jobe has remained unassailably dignified under the most extraordinary pressure over the past four years.

The Club takes responsibility for placing Jobe in this position and unreservedly apologises to him and his family.

Jobe is a person of the highest integrity and character and has the total support and admiration of our membership, players, staff, executive and board.

As a club, we are thrilled to have Jobe back at the club and committed to being a part of our comeback story next season.

The Essendon family has been, and will continue to be, incredibly proud of Jobe.

This is wrong on so many levels.

But I can't be f***** arguing about it anymore. All I know is that despicable c**** like John Torney and Peta Ann Francis walk around free and no-one will vilify them or boo them like Jobe.

The world is a wonderful place.

He is a better man than I'll ever be. I would have told the AFL to get f-ed and then thrown it in the Yarra.

Same here. I would have put it in my arse for a day, turned up to headquarters and shat it out on Gil's desk.

To be given a second chance winning of a medal handed back, tarnishes the medal completely. 2012 should remain blank.

Cotchin and Mitchell, second best or closest to, is still second rate and not the best or the fairest.

Agree...did the NRL clubs that played the storm get given pemiership status? No
Problem is, as an individual, the AFL will treat it like he was suspended for throwing a punch

P.S. Class act are the Watsons...AFL should give it back to him with an unreserved apology for being c**** through this whole scam.

Jobe Watson is no hero. He took a performance enhancing drug (2 when you include AOD). He won Brownlow whilst on drugs & got banned. #Facts

Then he adds this gem, .......the moron:

Congratulations to 2012 Brownlow medallists Trent Cotchin & Sam Mitchell. Pity they didn't get their moment in sun. Stolen from them. #AFL

I laughed altogether too much at this.

For all the will-they-wont-they regarding retirning the medal for the season vs giving it to the dicksmack, what are the chances of the AFL just turning around and actually giving it back to Jobe come Tuesday?

Dave Culbert is a failed athlete who resents successful athletes with a sociologally unbalanced fervour. In other words he's your classic small man trying to punch the bigger man in the nose but failing terribly. The consequence of this is he becomes more and more bitter.

Just a laughable little ****tard
