I would move MJ from HBF to BP
Mal from BP to CHB
Lucas from CHB to CHF
Ryder to the bench
NLM from the bench to HBF

My four on the bench would be Monfries, Watson Ryder & Johns...a bit of pace, a bit of mongrel & a bit of height...

PEOPLE PLEASE REALISE THAT HOW THE TEAM IS LISTED ON THURSDAY NIGHT IS NOT NECCESSARILY HOW THEY WILL LINE UP ON GAME DAY, OFTEN THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE WHEN SHEEDS IS INVLOVED. ENOUGH OF THE CRAP WITH "I would move such and such here" etc.

It would be so much easier if they just listed the team in number order, like for the NAB cup so then we wouldn't get so many useless posts.

chill out j-mac....nothing wrong with useless posts.

its all useless, its just opinion.

we all LOVE the EFC here, and like to speculate on whats going through the great mans mind(sheeds).

i hope he is back from the perceived fairies and going to deliver this year...i think the club has some real talent.

Maybe. Depends on which way you look at it.

I think with Johns in, we become too top heavy and cluttered in the forward line, which is at least the impression i got when watching our NAB Cup game v Carlton. Last week, without Johns, our forward line consisting of only two primary targets in Lloyd and Lucas was very efficient and worked very smoothly indeed, and they were ably supported by the smaller players (Davey, Jetta, Welsh etc.).

Also, Johns needs to sort out his kicking for goal if he wants to become a quality goal-kicking, key forward. We're a bit spoilt as Essendon supporters because we have two of the best set shots for goal in the game in Lloyd and Lucas, and by comparison Johns is only an ordinary shot on goal. He needs to get his radar right, preferably in the VFL for me.

The only reason Chook could not be in is if he not yet 100% recovered from his supposedly minor hammy 23 days ago. Otherwise he is the best choice against Sandilands.

In that case, I reckon Johns, Bolton and Dyson will miss and Scott Lucas will have a ripper!
