Same Olds v Grog Wine Spirits (GWS)

Post by BenDoolan » Sun May 28, 2017 7:04 pm

OUT: Colyer

IN: Bird

Start dropping blokes who put in shockers. That was an utter stinker by Colyer last night. And to be honest, he's been ordinary since the Adelaide game.

Got our work cut out for this one, seeing GWS notch up their 1st ever Win over the Eagles.

Our biggest chance is their Arrogance and they are still prone to shooting themselves in the foot.

I'd say Hooker and Tippa had shockers as well. But they have credit in the bank.

Our best is good enough to win, especially v a team missing v.good players with injury.

The problem is which Essendon turns up. The ferocious tackling, fast running Essendon. Or the plodding "I never kicked a football before" Pre-primary Auskick Essendon.

I guess we just wait and see.

I reckon that Summation Tony, would be our season so far and how it might be overall,as I suspected it might be.

Win games we don't expect to Win and put in Shockers against Teams we reckon we should beat.

So overall,we could Win anywhere between 8 and 12 games.

Inconsistently maddening,be it a year like '78 or '98. #-o   :o

Just on GWS is anyone else very much meh if they win the flag? Annoying that its been gifted with the plethora of top picks but they don't have legions of annoying fans that make me want to punch them out.

GWS will not win the flag in 2017

You can take that to the bank

Over rated team that has proven nothing.

Overrated, young team, that was a kick off the granny last year. Have more injuries than you can poke a stick at. Have lost 2 games this year.

You sir, are a moron.

I don't partake in tipping, but if I did, and wanted to win - of course I would tip GWS.

"Come talk to me when they win something". Gee, they must be in dire straits after not winning a flag in the many years they have been in the comp. Melbourne won their last flag 50 years ago, does that give them better Street cred?

Go take your meds and have a nap.

Shit load of injuries - 6 day break - returning from WA..........

Yet we have been up and down like whores draws and we are facing our 4th inter-stater in 11 Rounds (who said it was a good draw?)

Still we seem to compete with the big boys and fold to the also-rans.........

Not confident - but a win would be a tonic and not totally out of the blue.

Colyer needs to go and if Luey comes back in then Bellcho or Francis to the forward line - and Hooker back to defence. Have a spell Hartley.
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.

That's about all that could save us I think. But I'm pretty sure we whooped G-Town on a 6 day break returning from Perth.

Haha. Please outline to us what Footscray had proven before last year.

Bombers will take down the Giants by exactly 31 points.
