Slats

Post by robbie67 »

Havent seen much loivin for the boy. Thought he had an excellent game. Kept the dangerous Burton in check (the free kick late in the third or was it early in the 4th was faaaarrrrrking rubbish), and was hard at it, and played with serious intent all day without being undisciplined.

I like the boy.

I too thought he did an excellent job on Burton. Whilst not getting much of it, he certainly did his job.

Maybe he can do the same sort of thing on Peake? Or Solly if he came forward?

Lol. He certainly played a very good game and showed he deserved to be there. Is very fit from his cross training, and therefore can play this run with role on small/medium forwards.

Also took a lovely over head mark running back in defense. Was in our best, and looks to be a promising player for the future.

He is the angry version of Gary O'donnell.

Good kick, does the disciplined things, but likes to get into it and knock some heads off.

Another one of the workman like players we have. Gets their tools, goes to work, finishes the job, then goes home. No fan fare, just someone who knows his role and does it. Will get better and better, just hoping his hip stays right for him.
He kicks on the left
He kicks on the riiiiiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhttttttttttttt

Just gonna let you know that this is miss topdon, dont want people to think the wrong thing lol,

But i love slatts, and he does go unnoticed to much of the time. He played a wonderful game on sunday and was great to watch. That shitty free that should never have been paid was crap, but he didnt let it get to him. He will be a great champ one day, not like hirdy or matty but his name wont just vanish like boltons will, people will remember the name Henry Slattery!

Long live the Slatts!!!!!!
