Clanger Hangar 2019

Post by BenDoolan »

Just getting things ready for the outstanding season ahead. The ‘high performance centre’ at Tullamarine is obviously working wonders.

Can’t wait for Round 1...

How many % are we ahead now BD? (based on the ...what was it? ...2% improvement from our super training facility?)

Hahaha, yeah, the ol’ “we’ve improved 2% just by sniffing the grass at the new facility” comment.

Some goose (regarded as some astute observer over at Blitz) made some comment about how they went to training and observed “I can already see a 2% improvement in their fitness due to them running around the new ovals” or some such. What a f****** load of shit

Probably the same “astute observer” who took all those training photos then provided an analysis on all of them. I still remember the photo of Elliott Kavanagh with the analysis “notice Elliott’s kicking action...the ball is in the perfect position to kick, and his leg is dead straight with a clean follow through. This reminds me of Chris Judd”

Some people need to put down their pipes and find another hobby...

I’m thinking we should all take up a pipe (crack probably best).

Then we too could maybe stomach the endless shit and drivel EFC serves up year after year after year...

But we don't need drugs....we get all the short-lived highs and depressing downers, just from following our Club :)

Such an apt subject title.

Would like to see a clanger kick/handball tally from our last game. (actually I wouldn`t, it would be quite depressing)

And how the f*** are we going to fix that it in 2 fkng weeks when the actual season starts?.

Only 52 last week?

I would have thought it would have been much more.Unless lack of effort doesn’t count.

I very much doubt that the selectors will have the balls to drop any name players, to bring in some youngsters who deserve an upgrade.

I am fast getting to a point of apathy where I do not believe anything the brass say. Its all horse poo to get membersh1ts.

It’s not just the amount of clangers we do, it’s the severity of them. Some of the stuff we committed last Saturday night was deadset comical ](*,)

A mate told me after the trade period, "good luck with Dylan Shiel-can't hit the side of a barn"

thought he was just winding me up
