Umpiring dreadful again. Ablett will get off on a flying elbow to the head because he’s Ablett. We have had a goal reversed due to a cats player slipping over. And it’s 6-0 to the cattery. Nonsense

No one can take a contested mark in the 50 and anyway why bother? No one can kick straight anyway. All our skills are on display today and it's f****** embarrassing!

A big difference is we cannot get the ball our of our back 50 but they get out of our forward 50 with one clean kick

Outplayed outrun outpointed out maneuvered they are on another level and if we cast our minds back to last year I'm not sure whether they've gone up a notch or we've dropped back three.

No one even bothering to look before they kick it into the forward 50. And who cares no Essendon player can take it anyway . The only way to get there is put it up their jumpers ](*,)

No poise, no class, no idea.

If they don’t come out this quarter and BANG THE f****** THING IN QUICK, we’re gonna get hammered

Can we start f****** well recruiting footballers with some footy nous and not just f****** athletes?

Parish at least tried all day.

Given the ineptitude of our forward line and the softcock approach of our backline - why wasn't Francis swung back and Hooker forward at half time? That way we would have at least had a marking target in our forward 50.

Our forward leading and movement were non existant.

And can someone teach these wankers how to kick - for gods sake - that last kick by Langdon on goal had the footy laces at 90 degrees on the left for a drop punt (not at the front) and f*** me, it swung left .. who the f*** would have thunk it?

😥😡 we played as if on mogadon.

Where was the spark and pace? It was almost too long a break and we reverted to the form of rounds 1 and 2. The short break now will do us good. Now I am really worried by the Sydney game.

Can someone explain why the umpires point blank refuse to pay holding the ball? Their interpretation of late hugely disadvantaged us as we rely on turn the ball over from our pressure.

I think when we start getting crucified the chuck it in. Not good enough boys but Inam sure they know that.

I was busy with my daughter's birthday party and missed the first half.
Judging by what I saw in the second half, we were very lucky not to be beaten by far more.
Terrible skills. Almost no handballs went to advantage (and kicking wasn't much better).
We only managed one goal per quarter and even then it was more by good luck than good management.
We look so far below Geelong it isn't funny.

I didn’t get to watch the game (thankfully), but seems like the same old story.

Win when it expected lifting the hype and making average footballers champs, lose when we shouldn’t making said champs into chumps, then have 2 or 3 games against the best where we are put back in our place.

Post 2000, all the hardness and quality has gone out and been replaced by elite athletes with limited or no footy nous 😢

3-4

Sydney a. W
Dockers h. W
Richmond h. L
Carlton a. W

In theory...should be 6-5. At the halfway mark

In reality will probably be 5-6

That will mean winning 7 from last 11 to have a chance of making finals

Hawthorn h
West Coast a
Giants h
Sydney h
North h
Adelaide a
Gold Coast a
Port Adelaide h
Bulldogs h
Fremantle a
Collingwood a

Reckon we will be lucky to 2 of the last 6.

So sick of this....institutional incompetency. Spineless mentality. Superstars one week, absolutely useless the next.
