Now Rampe and his recent actions puts a whole new light on our search for a new captain. Do we have anyone in the past 20 years who might have matched his record? I don't even think Jason Akermanis could have equalled his tricks. :D

He is simply trying to support the umps - and he f***** it up.

Now there is just confusion and ongoing criticism (on 774 this morning there was a 10 minute discussion between the breakfast crew, Kathryn Murphy and Jon Faine about it. Even Jack Riewoldt weighed in.

All Gil the Dill should have said was that "the decision was made in difficult circumstances in the heat of the moment. End of story".

Yeah fair comment too I suppose. With the Sydney crowd he mightnt have been confident of getting off the field alive

I dont get the fuss

If the penalty is too severe then change the penalty. Otherwise dont have the rule. You cant have it both ways

I think the fine thru are referring to is related to red derogatory remarks about “girl”.

I tend to agree that the fine is absurdly excessive. Get a grip AFL. Bloody hell
