Draper was next to useless in the second half of the Ressies today.

3 injured ruckmen....
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.

What's the story? He was damn good in the first half. I left for the game during the 2nd half and someone said he got injured. Nothing mentioned on the club site. Then someone said he was on "managed minutes" in the 2nd half.

Only got to the game at VFL half time and was told he got an ankle injury just before half time.
Either way - managed or injured - he didn't play the second half at all.

"Managed Minutes" is code that he will be playing on Friday... (ie they only play one half and then put into cotton wool so they don't get too shagged out or injured). In the VFL, they do a bit of that for those who are just needing a run before returning to the seniors.

In: Draper, Fantasia, Mynott and Ham (played decently in VFL). Likely to only get one newbie starting though.

We know that Myers will slot straight back in (unless the management was for other than physical issues).

I would also like to see out:
* one hand ball too many;
* hand balling to a player who is either static or half a step from an opponent
* no-one leading in the forward 50;
* blind kicks into the forward 50;
* kicking it to a two on one in the forward 50;
* not having a crummer out the back of our marking target in the forward 50
* not manning up or pressing when the opposition kicks out;
* Hurley taking too long to move the ball when he has it in his hands; and
* players not moving when we are kicking out (geez - bring back the huddle just to be different).

This is what stood out to me today - almost every one of those issues is due to movement (or call it work rate if you like).
If they'd run hard enough for long enough, they'd have provided a target or been in the right spot. But hardly anyone did it.
On the other hand, Geelong did it fabulously.

It worries me for the Swans game that on a small ground we won't have space and will look as bad as today.

Ha ha yeah. Kicking to Tippa with two, 190cm forwards either side of him. Was like my 6 y.0. grandson trying to get the ball off me.:D
Or a nice mark in open space. Receiver 40 metres away in the clear, calling for it. But no, not confident, so hand pass to the player 5 metres away, hand pass back to the marker, hand pass 5 metres to someone with a defender on his back, turnover and goal! How many times did we see shit like this yesterday? ](*,)

What is the name of that dude who kicked 7 goals for Sydney in a game last year then did nothing else - Ronke, Kronke or something.

Expect him to make his annual statement against the Same Olds this week

You mean the bloke that we could’ve taken? Ronke is correct.

That said, if we picked him up, would’ve been a very different result 🙄

That has to be the end game for Kyle....if we are smart, a big if I know, move him on for a third or fourth round draft pick at the end of the season. Please let’s not clog the list for years with players that are just not good enough.

Same Olds have turned up at the SCG

Shit awful again

I will save my disgust for now - perhaps they can do something in the second qtr

Sydney look hungry and moving the ball into their forward line with some system

Us, well....usual crap disposal and decision making
