Given our delivery into the forward 50 is to bomb it high and long... Tippa at CHF is this week's joke selection.
Reverse psychology perhaps?? If they think he's the CHF then there's no way they'll bomb it to him LOL

How the f*** is Laverde part of the emergencies?

And while we’re at it, Zac Clarke?

If Belly is out, would rather a sack of spuds than Zac Clarke 😉

Should never be selected for a game ever again.

Great to see Josh Begley back. Although, he hasn’t really set the world on fire in the VFL.

Langers can feel vindicated. Well played young man! Now go out and knock em dead.

Benny McNiece thoroughly deserves his selection. Will give a good account of himself.

Maybe he had it too easy for Subiaco after all.Still thought he was worth pursuing.

Nick Meese of Willy would have been a better option as an emergency or stopgap.

you were pumping this guy up grassy and hes been horrible. him not getting games at freo had nothing to do with ross lyon not liking him or being a bad evaluator of talent, hes just no good.

Well they need to win... the number of teams making the finals from 3-6 can be counted on one hand.

We must be really desperate if Zac Clarke is an emergency. Or do they plan on playing Joey some of the time in the ruck? As a tap ruckman he's o.k. but then what? I suppose we use him as a clothes horse or hat stand? His kicking is the worst I have seen in a long time, he makes some of our blokes look like stars in comparison.

Is Ridley being rested? We ought to getting as many games as we can into this young fellow. Begley is only a couple of games back after being injured please get your hand of it. He is better than some of the passengers we've been playing lately and giving a free pass. What's happened to Ham?

I don't know about this game but one thing I do feel is, if we lose this game there will be people absolutely gunning for the coach/es heads. How many games before we throw our hands in the air and say enough, we're done? After the bye?

I thought La Verde had been injured again?

So here we go again. Gameday. And the common question is which Essendon will turn up to play. The excitement machine that looks a Premiership team when in full flight or the spineless, non effort, bruise free catastrophe that loves to ruin our weekends.

Fed up with dealing with this club. I watch weaker teams on paper bust their balls for their fans and we have a bunch of spoiled millennials running around in our famous club jumper. They really don’t give a shit. They know 15 disposals at 56% efficiency gets them a game next week and $350k a year.

We have Interloper John at the wheel who reminds me of those Snake Oil salesmen of the Wild West......riding into town with their magic elixir promising a cure all for all maladies. In the end the elixir just leaves a bad taste in your mouth and years more of the same suffering.

It’s a f****** indictment on this football club that by round 9 every year we are already resigned to a wasted season and our minds wander to other sports...maybe focus on the Cricket in England or the MLB season. To be honest, I am more interested in the damn transfer window in the EPL than what Essendon does at the moment.

I yearn, sadly, for a loss as a win at home over Fremantle only papers over the cracks. A loss will bring into sharp focus that we are in fact, despite giving up TWO first round draft picks to improve our list, not an ounce better than we were last year at the same time.

f*** You Essendon

I am going to give credit where it is due

We were junk for three qtrs but the effort was apparent

In the last qtr, the overall lift in intensity was extremely pleasing

A long way off the competition leaders but I cant fault the effort at least

The Sky didn’t fall in tonight, though those Umps sure tried late in the game.

They put more into it,than those Plonkers from Cockburn.
