Just interested....Parish & Langford featured in votes tonight. Why is that?
Objectively ( I hope) Parish got a lot of the ball but really just banged it on his boot. Not terribly efficient. Langford's stats weren't much better than most of his games, except he scored goals this week.
Is it because they were just relatively better than most others?

My view - Parish played more inside midfield where he is better suited. And Langford played more forward where he is better suited. He's always been a forward and does have a knack of finding space in F50.

Langford had 22 possessions (5th highest), 10 contested, 1 disposal clanger and 77% accuracy (the 3rd best accuracy for us behind McKenna 16 poss at 80% and Zacha 19 at 78%). With 3 goals, he was our only multiple goalkicker from our 4 goalkickers.

Parish 31 possessions (our most), 19 contested (9 clearances), 2 disposal clangers with an accuracy of 67% (only 4 others had a better accuracy apart from the 3 above: McGrath 22 possessions at 68%, Saad 17 at 70%, Hooker 14 at 71% and Laverde 10 at 70%) had better accuracy

Objectively - I think they did alright.

They were both fantastic last night. Langers was the one that looked like genuinely winning the game for us! No-one else was kicking goals. And he did a lot of grunt work around the ground as well. He has a good temperament. He looked the most competent in the conditions.

Darcy was excellent. Bored in and got the ball. Some were critical of the bombing kicks forward. I say that is the order of the day!!! Well played DP =D>

Parish played like he gave a sh!t, for 4 quarters. Heppell too.
Langford got into the right places and scored 3 goals.
