Snelling.
Re: Snelling.
Good game by Snelling this weekend, but won't get an AFL game V GWS because it would be a 4 day break.

Monster game! Probably won’t play Thursday, but a debut isn’t far away IMO. Some senior players must be on notice!

Re: Snelling.
While we have so many players out injured Snelling could play some time as a half forward and time in the midfield. Bring him in.

Maybe Woosha thinks that if he leaves the twos alone and they get a flag it will take some of the Spotlight off him

Re: Snelling.
Obviously not good enough for AFL in our selectors eyes. So why select him in the mid season draft?
Not sure what else he needs to do?
Re: Snelling.
Willy Snelly is making his debut Friday night. Well deserved after cracking for in the VFL. Good luck son

Re: Snelling.
Congratulations on being selected to play in the Seniors.
Snelling might just be one of the missing links and help to fill a gaping hole left by Devon Smith's absence. Snelling is also able to go forward and kick a goal. We still have a few players out of the side with injuries and importantly, our number one ruckman. I guess we will have to play spack filler ruckmen until the end of the season. Next year Draper will be sharing ruck duties with Belly. Using Clarke as back up if his contract is renewed.
Interested to watch you play and show us your craft. Good luck.

Re: Snelling.
Fantastic news!!
Well deserved and all that. Looking forward to his endeavour. Like I said previously, there’s a touch of De Goey about him. Get excited!

Re: Snelling.
Good debut! Was probably a tad nervous and didn't hit the ball like he has done in the VFL, but it was a good start to his AFL career. The more he plays the better he'll get

Re: Snelling.
PLAY HIM THE MIDFIELD THIS WEEK. Let him take Heppell's place there.

I thought he would have been offered a 2 year deal on low coin on the main list (given he is better than and tries a lot harder than many on the list). With a decent year in 2020, he may be asking for a lot more.
The way the club manages its list sometimes leaves me bemused...

Yep, the guy arrives mid-season, is starring in VFL for weeks before getting a call-up, then does PLENTY in his AFL games, and.....s'dreams wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2019 10:26 am*** BUMP ***

BUT...I really don't know how "the list" works these days, so does making him a Rookie insulate the Club if he doesn't show the goods next year? Or does his Rookie category simply disadvantage him somehow? Either way, it will be interesting to see his trajectory against Marlion Pickett.
