Absolutely Rover!Burnt toast,Wet Toast!Whatever they are!Them and Channel Eagle gave me more reasons to HATE ‘EM today, albeit for non Essendon reasons!Rover99 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 11:22 pmYeah, not quite sure how we won at times. They were pin point in their disposal while we were still ragged but determined. But we got there and I loved our aggression and intercepts and tackles and the way we used them as a door mat. So Grassy, for your sake and mine, I hope it's BURNT toast next weekendgrassy1 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 10:57 pm Well,we Won and it’s always satisfying knocking off those Smug Bastards Of Injunction!
Well,at least the ones that got a laugh out of Mitchell’s Smartarse Antics!
3rd Quarter got us there and whilst things got a little hairy late in the game,we got the job done in the end!
Well done fellas!Now,for Wet Toast!

I worried for him then. Must be made of bloody steel. Nobody saw it coming
Well, as I kept on saying, let’s see how he goes in the 50-100 game period. If there is no improvement, the. Let’s call it a day. But he’s started this period in good fashion. The good part is his ability to kick goals.Windy_Hill wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 3:59 pm Credit to Windy Hille for sticking tough with Langford...definitely looking more comfortable and importantly confident with being an AFL level footballer. Well Windy Hille, I must say my eyes were opened on Friday. A quantum change in just about everything. And that snap goal from 45 or 50 floored me (was it 50?) But consistency is what counts, so 2 more games like that and I'll gladly eat my words.Windy Hille wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 11:57 pmWell, as I kept on saying, let’s see how he goes in the 50-100 game period. He certainly pulled his figure out during the third, giving Zack a dream run. Couple of nice marks around the ground and a great goal.
Until we get a decent forward line happening and can kick straight consistently from within 30-40 metres we'll continue to tread water.
