Geez,Dean Margetts is popular today.

Apparently his Umpire Coaching(all the way from Melbourne)was accused of trying to get the Eagles Reserves Home today.

More apparently,he got a brown paper bag from 1 Trevor Nisbett about 3.30PM(WST). :-"

Would love to see Gown having a crack. Been watching him as one of the most prominent improvers but seems to go missing for no good reason some days. Got 4 against Sandy today - best yet! Why wouldn't we give him a go? Absolutely nothing to lose. McKernan, Gown, Heppel in, out Z Clarke, Langford and most likely Parish

Am really looking forward to this game. In my opinion and it is only an opinion, this game against a fast finishing Bulldogs with nothing to lose, will determine once and for all if we have the ticker to be a good AFL team. A win will go a long way towards dismissing the loss against Port as an “off day”. A loss will say a lot about this team, the coaching staff and the club in general.

Sadly, the loss yesterday was met with a simple “Meh..”. Too often this team has teased but never delivered. I would think that many Bomber fans are somewhat ambivalent about the way the season is panning out. Same Old Same Old Syndrome.

So let’s see if they really want it or not. The Bulldogs await.

What sort of Bulldogs await?

The ones that pull off a against the odds meritorious upset against a Top 4 Team?Or a team that limps home, with it’s collective tail between it’s legs after a Horror Loss?

your question is perfect except replace the word Bulldogs with Bombers

Yeah, but we can’t play an August Intra-Club next week(ie ourselves).

As for the Doggies, they ended up somewhere in between today.

Exactly what I was thinking Windy, we would be by far the biggest 'Jeckyll/Hyde' team going round...

But no matter which team turns up Saturday night, I expect a 'BIG' game form Jake 'string theory' Stringer, expecting a 5 goal haul and 25 touches. 8) :D
