I’m a walk up tonight. Couldn’t reserve 2 members tickets together online so we’ll try our luck at the gate. Taking 2 of my sons of who doggies. So I’m hoping everybody is happy and it’s a draw

Heater on. Cozy lounge. Lovely warm drinks. And the occasional brandy. Lovely.

Shut up! Its going to feel like -3 by 8.30 tonight and a loss imminent and a bad chest infection..if it were not the last home game of the season i would be staying in an environment very similar to yours....however....

Enjoy your evening Daisy.

I’ll be thinking of you cursing everyone as I watch on. Then I’ll look forward to your rant later in the evening

Strangely enough I feel because we are the underdog we can win tonight.

They have Caleb Daniels and Libertore out.

I think it’s time for the Jok -Tom Jok. He can’t possibly do any worse than Z Clarke.

Yes he can. It feels like the whole team is the walking dead atm and we have no one reliable to replace them. A little while ago our run home looked like heaven on paper, but we've managed to make it look like Hell. Enjoy anyway and good luck to the lads :? .

Seriously, injuries are never an excuse in a game where fractions of percentages are the difference in the talent on the two teams...these are all the crême de la crême of Aussie Rules footballers.

But explain to me why one team has 6 players at every contest and the other 2

f****** laziness, that’s how. Essendon has been a lazy football team for decades now. They just don’t want the ball as much as the other team. And when they do get it, scrubber kicks or long bombs to no one in particular

Oh by the way, Langford is an exception to the crême de la crême call. Utterly useless but has many buddies to hide behind.

Stunned

What the f*** was that.

I am not going to blame Worsfold for that steaming turd of an effort.

But i will blame him for what this club has become. Bizarre selections and non selections, mentally weak as piss playing list, non effective plan B. No spirit, no fight. Surely coaching a team for 4 years must create more effort than this.

There are several players on the list who I want removed from the team permanently. Now is not the time to discuss.

NOW IS THE TIME FOR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

10 unanswered goals to half time

219 disposals to 150
102 handballs to 56
92 contested possessions to 68
winning hitouts 23 to 14 but clearances are their way 20 to 13 and English has 13 possessions and 5 tackles to Clarkes 3 possessions and 1 tackle
Marks, tackles and kicks about the same

Dunkley 25 possessions at 60%
Hunter 20 possessions at 85%
Macrae 18 possessions at 61%

vs

Heppell 13 poss at 46%
Redman 11 poss at 81%
Shiel 10 poss at 60%
Merrett 9 poss at 61%

Fanta 1 possession to 1/2 time
Stringer 5 possessions at 20%
Baguley and Zaha both 5 possessions

Dunkley running unchecked - Clarke should go to him (or Myers could do something there).

f****** embarrassing and shameful.

I’m surprised you are stunned ... after what we have dished up the last few rounds and especially last week against the Power, add to that the outs and ins, this was always going to be ugly Will only get uglier if the Dogs are actually serious about playing finals.

Said it months ago - the c*** needs to go !!

Good to see the club has given a farewell game for the following players;

David Zaharakis
Mark Baguley
Zac Clarke
David Myers
Ben McNiece

A few observations or complaints

1. The slow old farts that were brought in this week have contributed nothing:
Myers, Baguley, McNiece should never play for us again. McKernan and Heppell have a couple of credits in the bank. Beguley best of a bad bunch.

2. The only player I an giving any kudos to today is Redman.

3. Coaching is shit. No effort to stem the carnage (or if there was, the players aren't listening).

4. Fanta is still playing injured.

5. No team has lost by 100 points this year.

6. The record for consecutive unanswered goals is 23 in AFL/VFL history ... currently at 17 two minutes into the last.

7. The dogs have jumped 7% points. we have dropped 6% points from 100.1% to 94% at the current time.
