Rnd 22. Essendon vs Fremantle

Post by Windy_Hill » Sat Aug 10, 2019 10:40 pm

Am going early on this as I can’t be arsed thinking about tonight’s game for a second longer.

We will not play finals...simple as that. As such this club needs to be ruthless at the selection table and send a clear message to certain players that their careers are kaput. And to players who are only borderline

Out. Myers, Langford, Zaharakis, Fantasia, Clarke Z, McNiece
In. Francis, Parish, Gown, Jok, Mosquito, Saad

Never to return

All of the outs (give Zaka a farewell game)

Trade Fantasia before his stocks completely plummet

Others delist

OUT: M. Baguley, Z. Clarke, D. Myers, B. McNiece, D. Zaharakis

IN: Nil

Just allow the VFL to play with a settled team. Stuff the seniors.

Probably no changes to the list who finished strongly in that last 3 minutes to keep momentum and high scoring consistency

Total shame the game finished when it did, we definitely had the momentum. Robbed by the officials again!

Apparently Dane Rampe’s Sister was seen shaking the goalpost when Shiel was lining up in the last quarter...we was robbed

Ah bugger it, just let tonight's lot play again next week, except the standard changes for players returning from injury. So IN's would be Francis and Parish, and anyone else due to return. Sorry, can't be stuffed spending a minute to think about it any more than that.
OUT's - Baguley, McNiece, Myers and enough others to make room for whoever is due back.

Honestly, I couldn't give a stuff about giving anyone their marching orders. It'd be better to just write this season off and leave it contained to those players that have been there all year. Why give some youngsters a go and make them suffer for being a part of this diabolical season. Just gotta get through 2 more games and we can write this off and start fresh next year with a fresher looking team. One or two matches now won't make any difference at all to the youngsters that we need to be our future.

Not that I wish to resurface those memories, but our ASADA issue arose in Feb 2013. And until Round 18 (July 26th) we were 2nd on the ladder.
The next Monday we suffered all our penalties and slid to 7th before being banned from finals.

In:: Saad, Parish, Francis
Out: McNiece, Myers, Baguley

I am convinced that both Hooker and Fantasia are playing injured so would not be surprised to see either of these two out ...

If so - BZT for Hooker and Ham or Mozzie for Fanta

In the current circumstances, I have absolutely no idea how BZT can’t get a game ahead of a spud like McNiece. On that fact alone, Woosha should be sent packing.

Seriously, GAGF.

The Dorkers lost to the Aints in a shocker. That’s their season,so I’ll guess we’ll see that pain in the arse Ballantyne playing a Farewell Home Game!

Never seen BZT play although from what I do hear/see on here, he MUST BE BETTER than McNiece, mind you I reckon I`m better than him, cannot believe he keeps getting games. He might be a good VFL player, BUT from what I`ve seen, that`s it.

Very good footballer. Like the way he goes about it. Seen him many times and every time he’s done a terrific job. He has a great pair of hands.

This package is a good indication on what he does consistently...

Thanks Ben, I`ve seen enough now to see he has talent, how the f*** is McNiece getting games ahead of him??.
