You can’t compare the last year of James to Rutten.

Hird and the players we under drug saga crucifixion stress.

Compare to Hird years when we lost our points that might be fairer.

Essing-done that's us and we will be in the wilderness for a long time if the club will not eat humble pie and clean up their own dirty mess. We need help to right our wrongs. If tptb continue to keep doing what they've been doing, this club will fold. Or it will get so bad, we will wish it had.
Hirdy do not allow these people on the EFC Board to throw you under a bus again. The place is a mess. Wait. Do not come back now to this club. This Board although they are spouting promises like raindrops how they have changed or will change, it all sounds like wank to most of us. Wait, be patient, not now please.
Totally agree mdso, This club deserves NO loyalty or any genuine support from the same person they allowed to be crucified to the point where he thought maybe too many pills could be the answer.  c**** all.

Rich 32
Port 16
Carl 26
WC 10
Coll 4

Out of all of those, I can live with the Coll games as we tried hard, maybe even the better side overall.
The losses to WC and GWS are unforgivable given where those two sides were at this year.
Losses 8+ goals are unforgivable.
Anyway...not sure why I'm tormenting myself and others! My apologies.
Good stuff TS!

I thought I’d do a comparison of the past 3 coaches (their last 10 games as coach) just to torment even further…

JAMES HIRD (2015)

69 point loss to GEEL
50 point loss to WCE
38 point loss to HAW
110 point loss to ST.K
9 point win against MEL
25 point loss to NM
13 point loss to PA
87 point loss to WB
32 point loss to GWS
112 point loss to ADL

JOHN WORSFOLD (2020)

63 point loss to BL
4 point loss to GWS
0 draw with GC
35 point loss to ST.K
12 point loss to RICH
16 point win against HAW
15 point loss to WCE
66 point loss to GEEL
50 point loss to PA
19 point loss to MEL

BEN RUTTEN 2022

35 point win against ST.K
10 point loss to WCE

10 point win against BL
48 point win against GC
4 point loss to COLL
48 point win against NM
27 point loss to GWS
84 point loss to PA
66 point loss to RICH
It's semantics, and history now, so who cares right??
But Woosha's last year was 2019 effectively.
For the record - 6 wins, 4 losses including Elim Final.

He coached 2020.

Whether Rutten called the shots or not, Woosha is credited with the win / losses of 2020

Just scroll down the page and rack the Lisses,100 point Losses,Losing Streaks.

If Dave Warner’s Footy Hall of Shame was updated to the end of 2022,we’d Take the Cake surely!

We are on the same page. Sadly, I can't say that about the club now. I am a wait and see person, show me the results of all your changes and good works. Otherwise, I don't buy it.

More fun facts…

If playing in Prelim Finals is a measure of “success”, then consider the 10 Victorian clubs since 2001…

Geelong 13
Collingwood 11
Hawthorn 6
St.Kilda 5
Western Bulldogs 5
Richmond 4
North Melbourne 3
Melbourne 2
Carlton 1
Essendon 0

Who wants to count the days since 06/09/1997?

Factor in a couple more February 29's!

Oh,.....3 days less then?

Had our chances late 2020,but made the fatal mistake of sitting on an 8 point lead with the Breeze, instead of storming home with a Wet Sail.
