Re: Injuries season 2020
Hooker. Full training
Ambrose. Almost full training.
Stewart. Full training.
Draper. 12/12 post acl. Ready to reintegrate into contact training. No vfl might hamper his progress?
Noah Gown is making his recovery from a fractured foot and has resumed running, but Rundle said the club would continue to take a conservative approach with his rehab. Gooorn.
Heppell. infection caused slow to progress following the removal of the screws in his foot in February. He’s been up and running for four weeks, in great shape and feeling good. ? back for finals? "We’re not putting any timeframes on him, but we expect him to integrate into group training prior to games commencing."
Daniher. strength and capacity around the pelvis has improved, his running volumes have increased and he’s building his offline running. It’s not expected that his progress will be linear throughout his rehab, and we’ll introduce him to team training when he’s ready to do so. goorn.

Fantasia has done a quad.
Re: Injuries season 2020
Even with ZERO games being played, weeks in lock down and exercising at home (and more recently back at the club), he still manages to injure himself. FFS & FMD

“Scans have confirmed Orazio has sustained a low-grade strain, which will rule him out for next week’s game against Sydney,” Richardson said.
“We are optimistic he will only miss 1-2 matches.”

Tom Hird gets injured as soon as he pulls on an Essendon jumper. It's an all too familiar story.Windy_Hill wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 6:41 pm Tom Hird out for the season with a case of Footus Hirdium.

Better now than GF week.
However AMT is out! Ankle.
No Fanta and AMT. Who steps in?
Re: Injuries season 2020
Rama yesterday on 3LO was saying that a big part of Conor's dissatisfaction seems to be that he wants to play forward and kick goals. Reminds me to far too many U12 players that I coached.F111 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 6:46 pmWindy_Hill wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 6:41 pm Tom Hird out for the season with a case of Footus Hirdium.

So Rama suggested that Conor is likely to be played forward in Sydney...
Now who is going to replace Stringer (toe) and Redman (sore)?

“Towards the end of match-play (on Saturday), 'Walla' (McDonald-Tipungwuti) came down heavily on his ankle and rolled his ankle. He was in quite a deal of pain initially, and we put him in a boot and crutches over the rest of the weekend just as a precaution.
“He has pulled up well and we’ll get an idea of how he’s looking for this weekend when he has our main session later in the week and look to test him then.”

Bombers skipper to have surgery after fracturing ankle at training
June 19, 2020 — 3.46pm
Essendon star Dyson Heppell has suffered a fresh injury setback, the skipper set to undergo surgery following a training mishap on Friday.
The 28-year-old fractured an ankle in a tackle late in the session at the club's Tullamarine headquarters. He was seen leaving training on Thursday afternoon in a moon boot and on crutches.
"Unfortunately, Dyson sustained the injury when tackled towards the end of our training session on Friday morning," Bombers general manager of football Dan Richardson said.
"It’s an unrelated injury to his foot, but we immediately had the area scanned which identified a fracture in the left ankle.
"It’s very disappointing for both Dyson and the club. Currently, it is difficult to put a timeframe on a return prior to him having surgery, but we remain hopeful he will return to the field this season."
The Bombers are undefeated through two matches and are due to face Melbourne on Sunday. Final teams for both sides will be revealed at 5pm.

Another mofo training mishap ffs.
Thought we moved from Windy Hill because our training facilities were crap and our players were hurting themselves?
Sure glad we’ve got this high performance centre.
