Out: Laverde (inj), Townsend (susp), Francis (team balance)
In: Stewart, Shiel, BZT

Francis is more of an intercept marker who has been replaced i the side by Ridley in that role. We are going to need someone who can stand their man in the absence of Hooker. The defence have to stand on Hipwood (204cm), McStay (195cm) and McInerney (205cm)... assuming that Smith takes the majority of the ruck. IMO BZT is better for that sort of role.

If Francis could play forward - I wouldn't mind McKernan having a rest while Francis plays CHF. I do worry about our only tall forward of late not kicking a goal in the last 3 games and only 2 GA in the same time. Stewart can give a chop out in the ruck and should give away less free kicks.

Townsend will get a week simply because 1. He initiated the contact and 2. he plays for us.

Stewart must play. We simply have no height on the forward line. I would also play Langford down forward.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Oh gawd, if we play the way we did against Hadolaid(Adelaide,)IT WILL BE GOODNIGHT DICK. We did almost everything we could to lose that game and still won. Brisbane will come to play and we must as well.

Please play McBride forward, Hooker down back. Please use Hibberd as a tagger, just to annoy the living daylight out of someone one. If we do not come to play it will be a slaughter-fest. On the other hand, who knows we could hit our straps, we've all been hoping for that to happen, for something it click. It will be a good test.

I thought the game against the dogs was a very good indication of where we are at. This was confirmed on Sunday against the bottom side that is emotionally shot and displayed crap skills.

Yeah,fair call s’dreams.

Reckon the Brissie game might confirm that, given they are probably more serious contenders for the Flag than the Woofers!

FMD - a head butt gets let off and Sheed actually strikes his opponent earns only a 1K fine.

And Merrett gets cited for a dangerous tackle while Burgoyne gets let off for his second sling tackle this year (with the head contacting the ground)... and remember the outcome of the action is no longer important (the Shiel precedent) but what may have happened from the tackle.

But the one from Langford looks clumsy as he wasn't going for the ball first but for the player. The Nudge from Redman from behind doesn't help. But I also thought that the AFL banned players leading with their head. https://twitter.com/i/status/1287651930274017284

On the plus side - McStay got two weeks.

It is time for all Match review findings to be released at the same time if Christiansen cannot be absolutely consistent over the entire weekend.

People calling for Hibberd to be dropped were clearly not paying attention to the game.

If Langford is out the Hibberd is going nowhere anyway.

I think the changes will be minimal, just the two forced changes

Out: Laverde, Langford

In: Shiel, Stewart

Depending on weather, maybe a slight chance that BZT will come in for either Francis or Gleeson. Dry weather may mean we will need an extra tall to counter Brisbane’s tall KPPs.

Possible Lineup

Redman. Hurley. Gleeson (BZT)
McKenna. Ridley. Saad
Ham. Merrett. Hibberd
Smith. Stewart. Fantasia
Cahill. McKernan. Walla

Ruck : TBC, Shiel, McGrath

I/C. Townsend, Zaharakis, Francis, Snelling

Ok, if Langford wasn’t suspended, who do you drop for Shiel?

And how do you have Fantasia in the team when he didn’t play yesterday?

That might be a bloody good idea - at F/Fwd. What've we got to lose?
Encouraged by the Lions' mediocre showing at Metricon last night. They shouldn't be where they are currently on the ladder but they seem to fire so well as a team that it multiplies their individual skills X 2.
