R18 Messendon vs Smelbourne

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

In: Laverde, Hooker, Hurley, and Bellchambers (farewell game) if fit.
Out: Gleeson, Phillips, Hibberd, Cutler. (I think we’ve seen enough of the latter 2 to know they won’t be on the list next year)

Special Out: Woosha
Out: Phillips, Gleeson, Ham
In: McKernan, Francis, Cahill

Is Hurley still injured?

If not, doesn’t he come straight back in. Likewise, has Hooker not served his penitence? It’s not like he can go out and display his newly found form in a proper VFL match. To hold him back for the last game of the season would be humiliating and something he does not deserve.

Hurley will have a fitness test.
I dunno that I'm all that interested in playing him or Hooker in a dead rubber.

Play a couple of debutants - Harrison Jones and Nick Bryan. I’d bring in Ned Cahill too.

So the ultimate irony would be for Essendon to win this week and ruin Melbourne's chances.
But...we're Essendon, so doing the obvious is unlikely.
Dees by 23.
I think you can safely double that winning margin!

Essendon are just pathetic.

Don’t even bother coming out at half time. Do yourselves a favour and get on a flight back to quarantine in Melbourne and never put in an Essendon jumper again.

That 2nd quarter was just disgusting

Great training run for Smelbourne.

How many times did we let them go coast to coast that quarter?

Yeah...I reckon they should all just jump in that lap pool, relax, take it easy and watch Melbourne play with themselves for the last half..........then drown the lazy f******.

A fitting "Up Yours" for Woosha's last. Let's all hit the Lattes down at Pacific Fair after the game for a great farewell :D :D .

Holy shit, wait.... We got another point

Why kick it, when you can handball it, any-where, indiscriminately, probably to a bloke that is just about to be tackled?.

Pathetic yet again, didn't turn up and decide to play and by the time we did, it was too late. The players looked like they couldn't give a stuff and played like that too. Like a Sunday afternoon stroll. Stood around made no effort to be competitive where did they learn this way of being? Where is the pride in the jumper, its not there.

Rutten with woosha as your mentor, you've had all year with these players and they dish up garbage like this once again.
Play just over a quarter of footy. They couldn't wait to for the game to be over, nor could I. Thank god 20220 is done.
God help us in 2021.

Well thank god that year is over.

Now if someone can teach the majority of the team that playing one good qquarter out of 4 is not sufficient...
