Operation Sign and keep REDMAN

Post by desmondo »

We need to get Redman signed sooner rather than later. There`s already talk of clubs sniffing around for him, (fkng crows for one.) He should be a 'priority' singing ASAP. And if we don`t, and he leaves, some-one needs a kick in the arse.

Not much you can do if he wants to leave. Adelaide isn't really going home though for what it's worth, his homes on the border.

Well I was hoping that we could create an environment where he was happy to stay, and could actually see US having some success in the near future?. Or am I dreamin? :-"

He’s a ripper.

If Redman leaves, I’d be a gutted as I was when Hardwick left the club.

Yes I recall the creation of the 'Hardwick hole', was always going to be hard to fill.

If we keep winning games and continue the way we've been going so far this season, I reckon it'd be hard to leave. [-o< Then there's the pull of the $.

The stuff in the media is his manager doing his job and raising his price. I think he stays.

You can do all that and still have a player leave.

Fling the contract and stamp it. Vital player in the line up who is driving a standard and consistency we want in all players.

I would think the manner in which he plays (expressing deep love for the shashlik) he isn’t going anywhere. However, we have seen similar traited individuals wander out the door and back into hometown - Gav Wanganeen for example.

In the other salad bowl, we have seen this sort of supposition on player contract status before. Create a story of speculated courtships to instill concern amongst fans and club alike - most likely driven by player managers.

Back him in.

IS there any truth to the scuttlebutt that the club has not even tabled an offer to Redman yet?

Did his Player/Manager say “Don’t even Bother!” by any chance?

It’s a very good signing. Redman is a heart and soul player.

I think psychologically it will give everyone a fillip.
