Looking forward to seeing how they look in match condition.

Was hoping to see Caddy have a swing. Ah well. Jayden Davey having a run?

I wonder if the “Animal Enclosure” is still operating at Linton St!!!
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

This brings back memories of the late Colin Stubbs and his post match comments after Terry Cahill was knocked senseless

Just good to see Reid get some game time. I`m hoping if he can stay fit, he can become our new Michael Hurley.

I remember Neagle being stretchered off courtesy of arsehole Sidebottom. Then Cahill was rabbit punched by that animal Ditterich. Basically Cahill retired not long after - aged 20.

On the subject of the current sheisters… here we are again. 10 goal loss. That Arizona trip has done wonders. They should have leapt into the Grand Canyon.

Our f****** club is seriously custard. Soft and yellow.

Weak as f****** piss.

Huge concerns over Cox, Jones and Weideman. All too easily brushed aside. On at least 3 occasions a Saints backman simply held his ground, and our blokes were not strong enough to contest.
One small ray of hope was Zach Reid and of course, Nick Martin.

We had the wind in the first quarter and wasted it with pointless handballing. In the third where the wind had really come up, we just looked at sea and were outplayed, outmuscled and outmarked.

My nostalgic returned to Linton St. was a total waste of time.

They had a settled and systematic defence. We had a short forward group without a key target. Weides, Jones and Langers aren't key targets.
Jones is better when moving because momentum helps him avoid a destabilising bump. He is just too slight to compete in a standing pack. (unless everyone else is a crumber  )

It wasn't too dissimilar to 2023 and I expect next week to be similar too. :-k

If round one is also similar, no complaints from me. [-o<

Quite unimpressed with what I saw. Whatever system they are trying to implement, it looks totally dishevelled.

Good to hear Jayden Davey got a run in the VFL.

There were rumors that the coach was so disgusted, he left at 1/4 time and left it to Caracella and Gia to coach the game out.

Cool story. Wish it’s true.

But I thought I heard BS wasn’t going to coach this game, and Gia would…
