Soft but stupid.

Seems these days the rule is: Incident happens during play - careless. Incident happens off the play/during stoppage - intentional.

Now if someone can explain to me why Sicily kicking McGrath during a stoppage only gets one game.
Kicking (and even attempted kicking) is a dogs act. How they can possibly not get heavy handed on this is beyond me.
Agree totally.
Funny (not funny) thing though....I did a bit of googling for past kicking offences. And there's been a couple over the last few years or so, and all handed fines. Very surprising. When did that change from being one of THE worst crimes on a footy field?
Remember the days when they suspended players (mainly Fletcher) for attempted tripping?
Wally copped a heap today on Facebook Tribunal Flashbacks,in '92.

The act of kicking another player, no matter what the circumstances, should be punishable with weeks.
Trying to soft pedal the act by calling it “low impact” or “minimal damage” attempts to diminish the dog act of kicking another player.
It makes a joke of Redmond’s weeks suspension for an open hand slap.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

I wouldn’t even call it a slap. Just an open hand push!

Makes you question why the club didn't appeal Redman's penalty.

Good ins.

Probably reduces our loss by about 4 goals. So… what might have been a 12 goal loss, is now an 8 goal loss.

You might be onto something there F111. Parish on the bench is a question mark in itself.

If Pazza is 100% fit, you’d think he be plonked in the middle.

Time to stand your ground and beat them harbour hacky sacks.

Brad Scott addressed that during the week.
Says they got legal advice, looked at all possibilities, but there was no chance of winning at appeal.
Mostly because the rules state clearly that it's graded as "intentional".

We are having a crack. That’s a good thing.

Some players are doing very nicely a couple are as dodgey as all f***.

Hind and Heppell are are way too loose.

Only caught the end on Channel 9 Skeapskate Radio, when AW's Perth link, plonked themselves somewhere in East Perth and called the action. What The F*ck was going on with that?

We got it back to 18,then coughed up 3 quick goals, like they toyed with us.
